I usually buy BTC when it's down if it it hits one of it's hard supports because that's where you can see that it will have a correction a higher chance in fact but of course that's just a prediction if the sellers is strong it may go down more.

Well the suited for this situation is to hold your coins. This market is like this unpredictable and your guessing will not work all time. That's why make one strong decssion if you have full confidence in your coins in future those coins will reach high price then just hold your coins and watch the market. or you can have the ability to use this opertunity and make a profit just do it.
