Ethereum is the only longterm hold I would suggest. Bitcoin is obvious too. Other than that, I wouldn't have any other long term holds in my portfolio. I would wait it out and see which ones are gonna make it out. A few obvious ones like BNB, and Solana probably will but how many others?

For Ethereum and Binance coins it will be clearer to increase again when Bitcoin starts to recover within a certain period of time because the two coins are still very often following the flow of Bitcoin movements as well as several other coins such as Matic, Cardano, Solana and others.

There is no doubt that ethereum and BNB are the most viable and safe coins for long-term investments, I believe as long as cryptocurrencies exist then these 2 coins will continue to exist, the number of platforms that use ethereum and BNB makes these 2 coins will continue to increase in price.

What the OP needs is to hold some altcoins for long-term commitment until he/she will marry. Maybe for the reasons that can be used to help the wedding and reception needs and for a new start. So here's my best pick and I also invest on it namely Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Binance Coin (BNB), Cardano (ADA), and Polkadot (DOT). I'm not saying that you should also invest on those 5 altcoins that I've mentioned, but if you want then it's much better or you can also pick your top 3 if you want.

for gene i've actually heard of this project but when i saw this coin i felt it would just be the same as ever with a coin meme that will only be short term and only rely on hype.

This is easy to say now because MATIC is current at all time high already. It is always easy to look at a coin already rising and breaking records but for once I agree that Polygon is one of the strongest teams out there with real devs and real utility for their token.
