It is not that Eth will supersede bitcoin, but Eth also has a great platform and well in fact a lot of investors are upcoming to develop a project using Eth, it would just be under bitcoin no matter what and also worth it to have this kind of coin, so for those who has much capital to begin to invest with, then it is advisable to invest in them both.

Obviously in terms of values, bitcoin is leading the market. Now Ethereum is the second largest cryptocurrency, currently trading at an all-time high of $850 while its market capitalization is $82 billion, according to CoinMarketCap. Yes, certainly ETH will be the next crypto. 2018 would bring more trust to the investors on ETH.

U think BTC and Eth are different. The price of BTC is not stable and Eth has the price of stable, but the price of BTC is higher than Eth, although BTC is decrease  Ether isn't stable once bitcoin goes on another dip all altcoins including ether will follow the same kind of movement. There are other alts that are much stable than these two but I won't talk about it. Ethereum can take Bitcoin's spot but not right now maybe in the future who knows. A lot of altcoins have been rising up recently and we might see one taking over Ethereum's spot. Eth is 1st for the fast transaction , but the value of bitcoin is the first to all the altcoins . Maybe if bitcoin is going down to 1k usd , we can that call eth higher than btc . But wait for the pump up of bitcoin or dumping.
No way bitcoin could go down to 1k. If that happens ethereum would also go down to $50- $100. |

It's price may double or triple this year just as how it grew last year. ETH is worth investing but I don't think it will surpass bitcoin's price. ETH was overtaken by ripple last year too which is why XRP is going to be a competitor to ETH when it comes to smart contract. There will be changes to the top 20 in coincap when regulations are settled.

If you are asking if Etherium will reach the market cap of Bitcoin, I think it is possible. To clarify, I think there is a good chance that at some point in the future, a cryptocurrency will pass Bitcoin in market cap. I don’t know if it will be Etherium or not though. What I mean is that there are so many new and innovative coins now that many are probably already better coins than both Bitcoin and Etherium. As we know, the best doesn’t always win, but over time, I think many altcoins will begin to catch up to Bitcoin in market cap. |

It should be.
As I can see it is the faster one to do transactions and way cheaper.
It got a lot of users and yet it stays like that. It can somehow handle large amount of transactions even if they are lower than just 10 dollars.

It appears to be when it comes to each of their market value. The market value of Bitcoin is way more expensive than etherium's. But when it comes to the increase of their value based on percentage, I tjink they'te just the same. So there are just number of aspects where Bitcoin is ahead of Etherium makong ETH the underdog between the two. |

Maybe? because ETH is next in line with the next largest market cap eth will surely flip bitcoins market when its good ICO's market hits very high like NEO OMG and some promising coins that is in top 20 in the coinmarketcap i think now 2018 is eth year and its markets will continue to grow because of many emerging new coins under its platform. |

If we can get a solid working Dapp on ethereum, it will slowly but surely grow and overtake bitcoin in the future. I know it will be hard for the hardcore bitcoin supporters to digest but ethereum is much better in many aspects when compared with bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency and Ethereum is second largest by marketcap after Bitcoin. But bitcoin has issues like high fees and lengthy waiting times, which does not make it the best currency. Segwit helps a little, but Lightning Network should be the best solution once It's implemented. Ethereum also has it's issues like scalability, which need to be solved rapidly.

Yes ethreum has a much better future as almost all the new project is based on the blueprint of ethreum and it has gained good stability which will be a huge advantage over bitcoin and ethreum is the future. |

I agree with your point as we are all aware that ethreum is winning more trust of people and can replace bitcoin as the number 1 rank but there is still a long target to achieve for that and the path will be bit difficult but ethreum can easily ripple bitcoin due to its specifications. |

My perspective is still bitcoin , bitcoin is decentrelized coin and by the marketplace demand it determined the price of bitcoin that is why bitcoin is stable , and on the Ethereum , eth is one of the best alt coins despite the price of it , eth is absolutely on the second place. And if you have a money to invest make sure to invest the half of it in eth and the half of it in the btc , its more worth it though.
Yes ethreum is currently the best crypto coin to invest into as there are other contenders of bitcoin which are not too stable or popular like ethreum. |
