The lack of financial education in general is a worrying problem. We teach students about literature, maths, science, ... and we tell them that those are the things they need to know in life. Yet usually, the largest single expense they will have on their lives is a house, and that normally comes with a mortgage. Yet, only a few schools will tell them what should they be expecting, the risks and the consequences of such a contract.
Bitcoin and alts is another case in which people are carefully kept in ignorance by the governments and lobbies.
What can we do to make more people interested in economy and finance and to better educate the youth so that they don´t get ripped-off?
It is not bout the knowledge it is about how people really wants to earn because if you really want to learn something you will pursue it and learn it no matter how hard it is just like learning some basics in bitcoin world. Don't let people feel that because of their lack of education there are no space for them in this kind of world.

As for my opinion, financial education plays a vital role not only in nurturing your economic status but also of your country. It helps us enlighten not only the consequences but also the opportunities we never knew could've been there all along. It is a chance to help strengthen the foundation of our future and hope and a challenge to be physically, mentally, and socially fit for any crisis that may appear someday. As the saying goes, "if you fail to prepare, prepare to fail". There are open courses nowadays which teach financial intelligence. Let's take those opportunities to learn and not be left behind. Let's also learn from other's experiences to know are the do's and don'ts. One of the best way to motivate someone in doing something is to show them the consequences of not doing it.

On my own perspective, financial management must be taught in schools. We cannot count on parents coz if parents are also not knowledgeable in financial management then kids also will be like them. Schools may organize seninars or trainings if not included in their curriculum.

I think that the lack of financial education is a disaster, but I don't think it's accidental: people are kept in their ignorance so governments can't do what they want and population don't understand when decisions are bad. As Henry Ford states, if people understood economy, they would start a revolution immediately.

In school, what they are teaching is to save money for our future, they kept saying that Education is the key to success and one huge step that we should make in our life is to finish school until College or better to also take a Master degree for us to be able to have a decent job which is nowadays I realize that it is not that important if you have the eagerness and strategies in life.
Its true many beleives that through finish our studies we can make things life better, but if you dont have the ability to control yourself on spending too much its useless, take a control and do a financial management to your daily expenses.

Well, this is the sad truth. And honestly I do not think there really is anything much we can do considering that we are only small people that cannot even solve our own problems in the real world. Obviously, a lot of people will be really interested to do something to be able to help spread awareness all throughout the world to make everyone more knowledgeable about the crypto world because it will obviously benefit not only the one being taught but the whole crypto lovers in this world. The most effective course of action as of now is to spread awareness using our own little ways like spreading it on various types of social media networks so that a lot can really be able to know more about cryptos. And we must also be ready to give proper knowledge or at least give them great sources for information so that they can also be great at spreading the word about cryptos. That is the only way that I can really think of as of now.

Encouraging those people to learn about financial education is a big help for them because you give them an inspiration that they can do their best to learn and achieve their goals in life.

The problem with social media networks is that they are so full of crap and misleading messages that you would be preaching in an empty church. People that mingle aroung are not interested either. I agree with you. Yes, that really is true. But the thing is that despite this fact, we also cannot deny that the social media network has billions of users around the world. And using this to spread the word about cryptos is the best choice there is for now. Because clearly, I do not think that any t.v. network will let anyone advertise bitcoins on their channels. Heck, I don't even think that anyone would even consider paying just to get bitcoins on television advertisements. But that really isn't a problem since there is social media, and obviously, more people spend more time on social media sites than t.v. sets. Just think about it this way man, if you, along with all the other people who gets to read this response will share legitimate information about bitcoins in social medias and be willing to answer questions of curious minds for free, it will surely make a difference. Although we cannot get rid of the trolls and crappy minded people that you are talking about, we will still be able to reach other open minded people and get them to spread the word themselves. Although this may seem as something that sounds like a fairy tale, it completely makes sense and can really do a lot to pull in a huge amount of traffic here in the crypto world. There are a million alibis out there that can be thought of if anyone chooses not to care, but for people who really do care, they won't even need a reason to do so. It usually comes out automatically. let us do something to actually make a change rather than just saying that we want to witness change. We owe it to the crypto world to at least try.

Its still depends on a person's perspective in life. People learn from.their experiece. Maybe financial education is also important because we are using all financial aspect in our life but as people also have their talent in doing financial analytics through their wit. They are smart enough on how they will use their money because afterall they have to do it in the right way all else they will left nothing. Its people decision whether they will want to be gain more knowledge through study or through the usual way.
Yes people must know what do we learn from education. And know how to provide the things do we need from financial services.

You can learn this Base In your experience, and also to the person. How can you educated a person that not interested on how to manage his financial services, even we say something about it or either advice them, we can not do anything. However we want to help them.

Always better to learn this stuff in collage but when you have no opportunity own experience is the only way to get financial education. Also you can try to pass the courses.

That's the number one problem of the wod, education. Because not all children will go to school. I think government will put a funds for education that all children in the world will finished their studies. Because now a days the first thing that they find when you go for a job is school diploma. So its sad if not all children will not go to school.

We really need social institutions like the sector of educational institution. There are still many people in our society that are not attenting in schools and universities. I think the government should focus on creating more schools for many people who are not yet have enough knowledge.

Yes, I agree that we don't learn how to be responsible with our finances in schools because for me that should be part of the lessons we get from our parents, at home. It is part of the life lessons we will only learn through experience.

Academic education is important and so is financial education. A well-informed and financial literate adds to economic stability because a well-informed individual makes sound investments which help him into the economy. I agree that schools should have a certain subject just about financial education. So that students can learn how to manage their finances at a very young age. In today's world, a lack of financial knowledge can set you back. We've got to act on money to make it work for us.

I can say lack of Financial Education to an adult is at that adult detriments, because how can you survive in life without the knowledge of making money probably out of trade or investment. In other way round, as much as Financial Education is of paramount/ importance to the youths or children, extra cautiousness must be applied, because if most of them are sincerely orientated and exposed to Cryptocoin investment and various bounties in the field, they may tends to be un serious with threir studies, unless they are truly matured.

Everyone suffer lac of education, that's the first problem of each and everyone. Because not all people have a work to sustain the financial education. For me my opinion government needs actions to provide the needs of their people especially young people need to go to school.

you are right you cannot learn financial education inside the school this is something that you will discover along your growth while dealing with different people and circumstances in life, amidst to those money will always be the problem because this balance this out, its a matter of give and take, its the medium of exchange and being financially literate is something that will give you edge to eliminate unnecessary events that can happen in the future like spending too much on things that is not important instead invest so it can yield interest for the years to come..
indeed! I agree with you. The lack of financial education is not important because financial literacy is not earned in school but learned as you become more matured to handle your money like putting first what is more needed.
