I think among the younger generation there are many supporters of digital currencies, seriously interested in their acquisition. It is obvious that schoolchildren will set the fashion for using digital wallets and using cryptography.

The lack of financial education in general is a worrying problem. We teach students about literature, maths, science, ... and we tell them that those are the things they need to know in life. Yet usually, the largest single expense they will have on their lives is a house, and that normally comes with a mortgage. Yet, only a few schools will tell them what should they be expecting, the risks and the consequences of such a contract.

Bitcoin and alts is another case in which people are carefully kept in ignorance by the governments and lobbies.

What can we do to make more people interested in economy and finance and to better educate the youth so that they don´t get ripped-off?
Yes before you invest in bitcoin you shoulf need a lot of knowledge because one wrong move youre mony will los by your emotions but if you have a lot of experience about bitcoin i think you will get more money in the future or in trading.

For me, maybe this true or not true

The lack of financial education it a real problem, and I'm pretty sure that deliberately governments keep people in ignorance about financial subjects.
I've a big admiration for jews people, because the learn financial principles in family from childhood.
For what I know, they are the only ones that have this kind approach, and it's not a coincidence that - when adults - they became extraordinary managers and investors.

Do not rely too heavily on government as a citizen We must do our best to contribute to our economy. In some countries, financial education is included in their curriculum, not directly related to altcoin but rather on the stock market. But I think the government does not prioritize financial literacy that must be done by parents in shaping the minds of young people.

We need to have conditions to do our best, if there aren't good conditions you just trying to survive. From early infancy we learn wrong things, after in life with all the wrong things learned how to do the right thing?
People are ignorant, system exist and survive all this yewrs becase of them, is easier to rule in that way. They kept people in dark and from that dark we can't see many people never wake up. Internet have its bad sides, but internet connect us all, that was the first step of waking up. Now we have blockchain, it will regulate connections between us on a higher level.
Slowly we are progressing, in that I like to believe. People now have more chances then 100 years ago. New generations will be even smarter, and in many year from now all the people in the world will be educated. Blockchain will have a big role in that.

I'd have to agree with this. People hardly understand how maturity works and how chaotic this world is they blame it all to the millenials. But really, its the lack of support from the one who knows more on handling finances. Being equipped with internet and the current technology, young people are more concerned in getting the newest and latest brands and models of new inventions and innovations. The best way to inculcate in the minds of the young ones are using technology and new innovation to promote interest in financial education. In this way it will help boost their mindset and change the way they see the world.

Financial education is really a necessity. Everyday we spend money, make decision involving finances on what to buy or where to spend and invest. So it is proper to educate the youth by starting in each of our home. Parents should not only give allowance to their kids but also teach them how to maximize the usage of it. Challenge them to invest in small business and let them earn their own money so that they will value it more.

First of all a teacher to teach students correct financial knowledge as much as possible, through the interpretation of some cases, to let everybody understand some basic principles of the financial markets, and guide the discussion real hot issues, let students understand the complicated and changeable market, virtually also let them establish the necessary risk prevention consciousness. In addition, the financial history of the heads or tails of the characters, and a thrilling case.

Since cryptocurrencies  has been created, many of us wanted to share this kind of topic. We study hard because we want to achieve our dreams which is commonly about house and lot. But not all people have the opportunity to continue to study due to financial problems.  We lack of financial education especially those who are unlucky with their status. Most of us can't go to college because of so many expenses needed. But now, crypto has been becoming very popular and to learn about this newly discovered technology is not so hard to understand.

Its still depends on a person's perspective in life. People learn from.their experiece. Maybe financial education is also important because we are using all financial aspect in our life but as people also have their talent in doing financial analytics through their wit. They are smart enough on how they will use their money because afterall they have to do it in the right way all else they will left nothing.

I personally feel the lack of financial education. Though in our school there were tries to explain us some of the basics... I think the problem is, as usually the case, in the gap between theory and real life. The expalnations were given in the abstract form and sounded difficult and never applicable. I'm sure the talanted teachers who really love their subject would change the situation.

Yet, even the "talented" teacher themselves could find a difficult time when it comes to the real problem happened in the real life. For me, internet and forums like this are the best solutions to learn about financial education, where we can share our ideas and discuss it together.

For me, lack of financial knowledge is the main problem in the third world country that willing to invest in bitcoin, yes they have some money, but a lack of information and knowledge has a huge effect if you want to become successful. Many people are scammed and thinking that bitcoin is a fraud because of lacking some understanding about bitcoin. Education is the most important thing that you most have to make sure that you can obtain a better life so don’t just waste your money and time there are million people out there that are willing to learn.  Smiley

Financial education is becoming something that must be added as main subject for all levels of education. This is something that only some college or university can offers to student (this is really depending from country to country) but think it would be great to add this is global level to all as main subject, maybe for high school level.

that's exactly the financial illiteracy of the population and gives rise to talk about the bubble and other nonsense. It would be nice to see a crypto project aimed at educating people.

today the students are very difficult to direct, (shaping their mindset about the economy), and so they can be attracted to the better economy of the much needed parent role. and parents from an early age to introduce it so they can be interested about the economy.

All we just need to do to make people more interested in economic and finance is to educate them.  Financial education need to be part in curriculum of all courses.  The government should subsidies some of our educational needs to help each students in education.

If government will recognize bitcoin, they should be more aggressive to let the students know about everything how bitcoin runs in their country. Perhaps they will make it part of each course's curriculum.

More and more people become investors, but they often fail to invest in projects. The lack of education in economics and investment makes them often fail more than succeed. We should be educated about the suttas when we are in school as this will help when we grow up. It will be a useful skill in investment and business to become more successful.
