I have read many threads talking over this subject and came to know that many people are very confused about their real job and the crypto world. So out of the panic they have started creating many threads like this. I thought to write some suggestions and kind of roadmap so that people can actually choose what is right and wrong for them. Hope this will help.

If this questions concerns a lot to you then you should know the difference between two.

                                                        _____Real Job______.
|.    _____Crypto Job_____

                                                            1. Secured fro lifetime.
| 1. Unsecured for lifetime
                                                            2. Gives you fixed Income.
| 2. Income is not fixed
                                                            3. Promotion Opporutnities.
| 3. Not Applicable
                                                            4. Yearly Hikes in the Salary.
| 4. Not Applicable
                                                            5. Recognition in the Colleagues.
|5. Not Applicable

These are the most vital points in both of them or at least this is what concern a lot to us while following both of them.

However I believe that what matters is the output which is "Money" And when you have enough money then that = Stability in your life.

This can be achieved in easiest way when you have all the point that are covered under the list of "Real Job". I mean if Im coming home everyday with hard work and for which I will get the sure shot salary at the month end then I would be happy for that and will loose most of the tension over that fact.

Lets consider the same case with the crypto currencies and earning through that.

What options do we have under the Crypto venture?
1. Signature Campaigns
2. Social Media Campaigns
3. Bounty Programs (Same thing with token payout)
4. Media Publications
5. Trading
6. Gambling
7. Lending
8. Hardware Mining
9. Coding (Hardest One to get in)
10.Becoming Managers (Very Stable but tougher to reach that level).

Woof! Thats lot of ways with which I could actually earn from the crypto currency. So I might just think that I will leave my job and will focus on all of them.

But what, lets think about it for a moment! Are they really reliable sources with which we could really go for rest of the life? Im pretty sure most of you will say may be, or some of you who are already very old in this field might just say yes. But, I believe its not that easy to work with all if them altogether and you have no assurance that you will get into campaigns all the time and you may not earn the fixed income form these options creating the instability in your house.

Most of the options above need initial investment and some of them are not even fool proof.

We have to agree that becoming manager here is not everyones play so we should consider that option equal to null.

However, real job salary covers all the points in it and we could easily survive! Thats the whole point.

The End Results?

I wish I could have easily said that we can live happy life just on the crypto currency. Unfortunately, I believe that real job is better than the virtual games. I would really suggest that we should look after the family planning, house stability in all possible ways. There is no way we can have that much stability with just crypto world.

You can make it part of your life, but you can push your life depending on it. Not at all!

Suggestions are all welcome!

Based on the information that you have stated avove I guess you are probably into a full time work. Since I am just a student for now, I didn't see the struggle but for me also it depends how you handle your time, maybe choose a job that dont demand for the most of your time a day in which you can include Bitcoin earning in your system I think you should discipline yourself since you are the one who owns your time, I think better to have daily schedule.

Why do we need to choose one of them if we could do both? Lucky are those who got the opportunity to have a decent job because now a days we need to passed by in a needle hole to have one. And all the benefits that a real job can give us which is not applicable in being a bitcoiner. If giving a chance to have a job, i will prefer to chose both. Anyway, being a bitcoiner doesn’t need too much time to do my job well.

If you love your regular job, then there's no reason you are going to exchange it with crypto works no matter how small the salary you get from your regular job. So for me, it's better to do them both to have a total of good profit at all.

I agree that there is no reason to leave the regular job if you love doing it because it is all about time management in order to have a balance in doing your regular job and also your work in cryptocurrency because that is the only key for us to have a great schedule and to do all of those things in a disciplined manner.

You have weighed the two options in a quite comprehensive way. That is a great effort. There are a number of people who are torn between going full time with cryptocurrency and leave their job or focus on their job and spend only the extra time with cryptocurrency. I think the final choice would depend on several considerations such as how good your job is, how well it pays you, how good are you with crypto earnings, how much and how long can you sacrifice with crypto if ever you fail.

Unsecured for lifetime and not fixed income i think these two things always be my main considerations why i'm not choosing full time for crypto because honestly i don't even know what happend to crypto in the future even though most people says crypto future will be so bright but i'm not trust they words 100% but if i have real job i think this is can ensure my future and my family future

And i don't think doing crypto works like bounties will take a big chunk of your time so you can very well that as a side earning. You're not sure if the next market plunge will be for weeks or months and in those cases, not having a job would be financial hell. Keep safe and have options all the time

I think it is really a bad idea if you quit your job for full time crypto. I know it gave us opportunity to earn money and sometimes,it gain bigger profit than your salary, but that doesn't mean that you have to quit your job. Isn't it much better if you have both your job and crypto? Besides,It'ss kinda risky specially now that bitcoin's price  is unstable and low. We can't assure that it'll remain forever, although we want to,but we're not the one to decide.

I will also suggest it to everyone who think whats the best, doing their job or crypto and i will say do it both, everytime i read a question like this im always saying that do it both, because in crypto world you dont have assurance that you can get your investment in the time you want because bitcoin price is not stable.

It will be great if you do them in a same time. Because crypto is not regular source income. Anytime crypto will gone. Thats why we should have a good plan and a good plan is while your in a real job take a part time in crypto

clearly and definitely I will choose to work in the real world rather than in cryptocurrency because I think what you mentioned is all true and the most important thing in life is you must be able to earn a definite income.

They both have advantage and disadvantages but still you can choose both to work with since you can invest on cryptocurrency while working on the corporate world and wait for the price of your coins to increase before selling.

In my opinion, it will depend on the person what he truly wants and what is his/her current situation. I know a person who left his job and go full time in bitcoin because of his disability. Yes, going full time in crypto is a huge risk because the income that you can make is not stable and also the cost of it, but it will always depend on the person what he want. Life is not all about the money the you can make; it’s about living in this world doing the thing that you want and stuffs that you will be happy with no regrets.

I think it depends on what kind of life you need, or at what stage of your life. Sometimes we need more stable life, so it is necessary to choose a good job. Sometimes we need to take risks, so you can try full time encryption.

As of today crypto market is not yet stable so choosing it over full time job is not the best option to do as of now. Let me explain to you how important regular job is to an individual, we all know it is hard to get a job from a company especially to become a regular employee of it because here in our country contractualization is part of being a newly hired employee and it's hard for us to become a regular employee as in, so choosing regular job which is more stable and will give you social life will be the best move you'll do in your life. For me if you have the will and the time management you can do both at the same time.

I also agree that it's better to combine these two options at once. But I am a little confused by the first point - "Secured fro lifetime". Real work can also be lost in one day, and in some countries, it's generally difficult to find. So that point is controversial for me.

-snip-

I read the OP's main topic and found that is very much biased towards having a real job. The purpose of analysis is to look at both sides and not simply list the pros of one side and list the cons of the other side.

That being said, here is what i believe are some "pros" of living the crypto-life:

1. Potential for huge earnings in a short span of time
2. Work from the comfort of your home or anywhere you like
3. Get to manage your own time without superiors breathing down your neck

I choose a real job, maybe crypto can give you more money than a real job but that's not always sure. While there are still many problems that hinder the development of cryptocurrency in this world.

The biased way in which you approach this subject tells me you are not someone that takes crypto serious in the slightest. You are dangerously misinformed and spreading misinformation.

Coding is not the "hardest" one to get in, that's a completely subjective statement. I am a software engineering student and for me, coding would be the easiest or most realistic route for my skill set to take me. You are not analyzing this objectively or in-depth by any means, you are throwing things against the wall and hoping that something sticks so you can claim to be correct.

Even the wordage you use is telling that you don't belong having this conversation, to distinguish between the two as "Real" and "Something else" you are implying that the second category is not real. It is real, in case you weren't aware.

"Real" Jobs are not Secured for life, they are never secured for life unless you have a contract without contingencies, stipulations or renewal dates keeping you in your position, which is unheard of. So your 1. is completely nullified and holds no weight.

You can easily acquire "fixed" income in crpyto, and most jobs in the "real" world are not fixed either.
If you do not see advancement opportunities available in crypto, then you are closed-minded and short-sighted. Many people started from nothing and have worked their way up in crypto to being millionaires, is this not effectively a promotion? They require more effort, knowledge, expertise and receive more pay; this is a "promotion".

I do not know what job offers yearly "hikes" in salary; please do tell me where you work. Bitcoin has increased in value every single year, this would make your past work more valuable, not only increasing your future wages, but making the work you've already done more profitable retroactively.

"Recognition in the colleagues", Who? What are you even talking about? If you contribute to this community you garner the recognition and respect you have earned/commanded.

As it seems to me, you have exactly 0 points and are making next to no sense. You have not thought this through, you are approaching this conversation from a biased perspective and you would do better off going back to your cozy, familiar life. We are pioneers, changing the world and you're free to cling to the safety of the past if you so choose; you will be left behind.

Very well said sir. At first dont choose between the two if you have not yet experience to earn in bitcoin. You need to be knowledgeable and explore the world of bitcoin before giving our conclusion to it. If you are already earning big enough from bitcoin maybe its time for you to choose between your job and bitcoin. There are more advantages doing bitcoin job than any other jobs out there. I believe many people have gain and earn big enough compared to their jobs before and decided to do fulltime in bitcoin.

from your explanation I certainly would prefer to look for a real job than just playing bitcoin because with real work you can earn a salary every month with a precise different if only play bitcoin whose income is not too sure.
