I'm not a fan of hardware wallets. I think that security is in your head. Idiots will always lose their money...
Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Securing your bitcoins is actually hard because there are different wallets out there that are being hacked so you should ask reliable person in order for you to pick the best wallet and reduce the amount of probability to get problems in the future.

I think changing email passwords regularly is one of the simplest things you can do to protect yourself from a digital hacker and make sure to turn off the internet when reading bitcoin data
You don't have to change email passwords if you are only using a hardware wallet or a desktop wallet. You can encrypt your password or simply write it on a paper and hide it somewhere that you can keep it safely. Sometimes those simple techniques are the best way to keep our bitcoins safe, it's easy and less hassle.

for convenience of transacting, the best way to go around with the problem is keeping a small amount of wallets in a usable computer, though not one you connect to the internet often, and securely configuring a good wallet.
You can also keep to web wallets or exchanges if you want to spend it. This is what I do. I have wallet and enough bitcoins for my cold storage and also I have a wallet that is also dedicated for spending so small amounts there are essential.

Actually, in protecting with Google authentic is enough but it's also good for regular password changes to make sense of security will be awake
Yes I forgot about this. But still what if the exchange you are using was attacked behind or with it's back-end?

Backup your entire bitcoin wallet early and often. In case of a computer failure,  do regular backups as it may be the only way to recover the currency in the digital wallet. Smiley

How to Secure Bitcoins?
In 5 way we secure our bitcoin. Namely:

1. Offline Mode:
The offline mode of securing bitcoins is called cold storage.

2. Backup:
Backup your entire bitcoin wallet early and often. In case of a computer failure, a history of regular backups may be the only way to recover the currency in the digital wallet.

3. Software:
Keep your software up to date. A wallet running on non-updated bitcoin software can be a soft target for hackers.

4. Encryption:
Encryption adds a layer of security to a particular folder, file, or message as it can only be unlocked by someone who knows the right key to it.

5. Multi-Signature:
The concept of a multi-signature has gained some popularity; it involves an approval from a number of people for a transaction to take place.

It is best if you will be placing your bitcoin to the hardware wallet like ledger nano s and other type of hardware wallet like trezor because those are the best and most secured type of wallet for our cryptocurrencies and there is no chance for us to lose it online since our wallet are hardware wallets and it is offline so the way to get our coins get stolen is to steal the hardware wallet from us.

Use a hardware wallet or cold storage if you are very worried about the safety of your bitcoins. Always write down your private keys in a place where only you can reach it.

You should keep it in a trusted wallet provider like blockchain I think it is the best online wallet for bitcoin,
And if you really want to secure your bitcoin you could keep it in a paper wallet or any offline wallet that could only be accessed by you.

Ledger Nano S is the best one for me till now.
I feel safe with it. And I only connect it once I need confirm for trasaction.
No one can see your private key, even you lost this device it's still not big problem.
It value too small to compare with BTC
well nano ledger is one of the most secured way to keep safety our bitcoin, but for me whats the best way is keep them in many diferent storages ,wallets exchangers and any possible that can let you bitcoin safe but gaining..this is what im doing since hacker now a day are getting extreme, and no one can be safe if we dont do our things

Don't put all your money in a wallet, save your private key, log in to your wallet, don't save your password, and quit the webpage to clear your browsing history.

The most secure way is either storing your bitcoins in a hardware wallet or a paper wallet. One costs money while the other option is free. But using a hardware wallet is much easier and secure. Trezor and Ledger are two companies that manufacture hardware wallets and I would recommend them both.

Here are a few pieces of advice that, should you follow them, will keep you safe from hackers.

First: Don’t rush! When considering launching your project — be it ICO, exchange shop, or cryptocurrency exchange — always remain attentive and vigilant. This will make you less susceptible to risks to trivial attacks like phiphing.

Second: Use only reliable antivirus, firewall and VPN systems. Always check the quality of your software developer: Sometimes what passes for free antivirus is a malware, which can infect your device.

Three: Store cryptocurrency on cold cryptowallets! And if you own a large amount of coins, it is a great idea you don’t put all your eggs into one basket. Divide your sum into small-to-average installments and keep them separately. If possible, use ‘cold’ wallets. Never connect to the devices that you don’t know are safe.

Fourth: Keep up with updates! Always upgrade any software you use to the latest version. That way you will protect your cryptocurrency against the latest threats. Reading the developers’ guidelines and precautions carefully is also a good idea.
