A MAN SEEKING FOR KNOWLEDGE

Recently Bloomberg posted the information that it took hackers less than 10 years to steal over 14% of all existing Bitcoins and Ethereum from the wallets of their holders. The total sum they have stolen is more than $1,2 billion! How to protect yourself from hackers attacks? Are you afraid of this stuff?

dont brag in forums or public chat about how many you have or hold because that will make you a target   also  bookmark your exchanges and dont use google search for that

also have a good antivirus  it do work sometimes and protect you  and tbh i think we should  be aware of scammers more than hackers  because  hacking is more like expert

technical stuff or something like and most of ppl cant understand it while protecting against scam is lot easier   for example just ban anyone approaching to you talking about a

good deal or asking for money ( indirectly ofc )

The best way I can do is always check the correct website and bookmark it,
Do not ever click the suspicious link especially coming from your email, using authenticator and IP whitelist because hackers are getting smarter and more creative to deceive people,
even though I've used the safest wallet and the highest security can still be stolen.

Who won't get afraid to those hackers? In just a few second or minutes all of your tokens in your crypto wallet might be gone. I think as a trader, we must keep our tokens in a wallet which we trust the most rather than keeping it inside the trading site since it is very vulnerable to hacks or system breach. It is still depends upon us on how we will add additional precautionary measures in our safes.

I can't exactly answer that. Yes I saw several cases when accounts were hacked and cryptocurrency disappeared but fortunately it happens very rarely

Oh, hackers have stolen a really big amount of money. I think they worked a lot to steal such a sum. Now there are a lot of hackers and you need to be careful not to steal anything. I treat hackers very badly and think that they need to fight with them.

I follow most of the security rules and I'm not afraid of hackers. If you know how you can lose money and use the methods of protection, then there is nothing to be afraid of.

Hackers move in a way that no one will predict. They are highly intelligent and professional. Yes, I am afraid of hacker, and it is the safest way to become safe. Why? Because we tend to make all the possible precautions and security measures on our accounts and gadgets. It ain't  that bad to feel the fear but at least we are confident that our assets are safe.

That's normal for us to be afraid of hackers because if not we can lose everything. That's why we need to be more cautious and more secured in our or selves. Don't access any link come from other people or else you will regret it.

I am not afraid of these hackers as most of my coins are secured in a hard wallet trezor. After I read about the past hacking of online wallets and exchanges I never keep my coins in them for more than a day. So I pretty much confide in these hard wallets rather that trusting some online wallet and be agitated about losing money all the time.

I am more cautious about my browsing habits as my computer has been attacked by a hacker. They encrypt the data and ask to redeem the unlock key. As well, and can hack my wallet

Surely we all must be afraid of hackers. Hackers can get into our wallets for sure because of the access that we provide. That means we have made a mistake that causes the hacker to get into the wallet and steal it. If we do not make mistakes or always be careful then we will avoid hackers.

it's really a very big number I just found out that there's a lot of money that's been stolen honestly it's frightening especially for people who have big assets because surely the hackers are not carelessly choosing their targets
I think the way to anticipate this is to further secure our wallet like using a meta mask and not putting all the assets in one wallet

I don't afraid. Follow simple rules:
1) Use two-factor authorization FOR ALL crypto accounts - wallets, exchange, etc.
2) Use ONLY trusty sites for cryptocurrencies - don't use new exchange, use only old and trust exchange - like Bittrex, Bitfinex, Binance etc.
3) Never send your private keys from wallets (so many scam-airdrops sites ask it).

I'm afraid of hackers. I'm afraid one day they'll open my wallet and I'll be left without my altcoins.
