We need to pay attention to login accounts, not to public wifi login and strange wifi. According to a little bit of my experience.

In November, MyEtherWallet was hacked, at that time there were a few PRL tokens, in November their cost was about 100$, and in early January, after the release on Kukoin, they already cost about 20000$)) Pretty insulting)

Great hackers will always find a way to get into your stuff. I don't live with fears and I don't think at the possibility that I will ever be hacked

The best is yet to come!

Recently Bloomberg posted the information that it took hackers less than 10 years to steal over 14% of all existing Bitcoins and Ethereum from the wallets of their holders. The total sum they have stolen is more than $1,2 billion! How to protect yourself from hackers attacks? Are you afraid of this stuff?
Most of the times it's the people who get greedy and click on the phishing link sent by the hackers who then install keyloggers in the infected computers and fall in their trap and loose their own bitcoins.
And in other cases it's the server side loss where the bitcoins are stolen from websites and other servers due to the ignorance in server security and sometimes the people loose their passwords.

I'm not afraid of hackers, because I never suffered from them and hope I will never. I use an AV, Google authentication. In the future I want to buy a separate computer for working with cryptocurrency. It's necessary step i think. I'm planning to use Linux. Also i want to buy a hardware wallet.

Not a lot of people know that "hacking" is a neutral term. That there are both good and bad versions of that word. So, ignorance rules the day and some people shun those nasty little hackers. While a different group of people get curious and do a little research on the subject, and stop being scared.

Being a hacking enthusiast myself, I am proud that I have knowledge about hacking Smiley

One should take all precautionary measures to save oneself from hackers. You should use a PC with good antivirus so that it can keep away all the malware, use safe browsers, always double check the website you visit especially websites like myetherwallet, etc., so that you don't land up putting your private key on the fake website, using offline wallet or physical wallet is another good idea to keep your funds safe.

I think that any adequate person is afraid of hackers. I do not understand why they do not need to be afraid, they are hackers, but they are different, there are hackers who are evil and there are kind hackers. But in any case, it's better to be more attentive.

So far, I'm not afraid of hackers, I might get afraid of them if one day I heard a news about a stolen/hacked wallet through brute-forcing because if that happens, that would mean they can already hack any wallets by using the same method of decrypting private keys which is hard to avoid unlike common ways like phishing.

Everyone wants to protect their property from thieves. This is a basic instinct. It is now very difficult to protect your property from scammers in a virtual world. Mostly people make mistakes because of the lack of experience and knowledge. Live and learn.

Of course, it would be very stupid to underestimate the danger that a skilled hacker represents, but if you take at least some elementary precautions, it's highly probably that he won't waste his time with you (unless he suspect that you have big sums hidden in your calculator).
But in this case, I hope you have a VERY strong security system.
