Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

I think everyone is afraid of hackers. But if you carefully and carefully work, you will never find this problem. Do not store money on the exchange, check where to enter passwords and use two-factor authentication

As for hackers? I think that each of us does not want to be taken by these not modest guys, who today are considered bad guys, so of course you need to be afraid of these guys and be very careful in your actions.

I don't afraid. Follow simple rules:
1) Use two-factor authorization FOR ALL crypto accounts - wallets, exchange, etc.
2) Use ONLY trusty sites for cryptocurrencies - don't use new exchange, use only old and trust exchange - like Bittrex, Bitfinex, Binance etc.
3) Never send your private keys from wallets (so many scam-airdrops sites ask it).

I agree with these recommendations, however I will add few more points:

4) Make use of Antivirus, Anti-Malware software and Firewall and make sure to keep them updated.

5) Wether you use Microsoft Windows or Linux or any other OS: Update your OS and other software frequently, if not automatically. This keeps hackers from accessing your computer through vulnerabilities in outdated programs.

6) Do not use open wifi; it makes it too easy for hackers to steal your connection and do illegal stuff

7) Protect all of your devices with at least password (if not 2FA, fingerprint etc..) , including your desktop, laptop, phone, smartwatch, tablet.
Use strong passwords, change them frequently and use strong security answers. (For example What is the name of your God? Answer: "My Dog Does Not HavE a NamE"

8 ) Be a SMART Surfer:Before opening links especially in email, make sure you know and checked the sender.
Hover over links to see the actual email address from which the email was sent. Is it really from the person or company claiming to send them? If you’re not sure, pay attention to sentence construction and formatting. If something still seems fishy, do a quick search on the Internet for the subject line. Others may have been scammed and posted about it online.

9) Keep sensitive data off the cloud. No matter which way you choose to cut it, data stored on the cloud doesn’t belong to you.

10) And Finally -  Simply Don’t share personal information - Be very sensitive with the information you share online, via email, and even over the phone. Credit card numbers, bank account information, and social security numbers are popular targets for hackers and identity thieves. If you have any reason to believe that this information is being requested for illegitimate reasons, don’t provide it. For extra precaution, verify in person or over the phone with any party or company requesting this information. When it comes to protecting yourself and your personal information, sometimes you can’t be too cautious.

In order not to be afraid you need to protect your computer and your passwords well. Install antivirus software! It is necessary. Don't store passwords in cloud storage, think of a way to be more reliable. Connect two-factor authentication wherever possible! And look carefully at what links you go through! Especially in the letters that you receive by e-mail.

Yes, I'm afraid of hackers and I know most of us do. Having your money in form of bitcoin or any other crypto coins, there's really a big possibility to experience these things.

I am very concerned about hackers.  The got a couple thousand from an old wallet on an old computer.  Well, I think they did as my wallets were compromised.  Physical wallets are awesome. Even a solid exchange seems safer than these extremely insecure machines.  Security experts say no system is unhackable.

CoinMetro - the future of exchanges

The total sum "they" have stolen? Who are they?
Sounds like it's some small group of people, which of course, is not the case.
There's constant theft going on in real world with real money and goods, nothing is really protected against this.

Noone can recover your crypto if you lose it, but at the same time, noone can steal it from you.
The entry bar is obviously a bit having a pin code to withdraw money from an ATM, which means alot of people are exposed anyway(like to exchanges etc).
Alot of people will lose access to their funds, alot of people will fall for scams, alot of people will lose their crypto via viruses etc -
and this is a necessary part. We can't both be our own bank and at the same time want someone else to take care of our money?

Buy a hardware wallet if you're scared, and you'll be as safe as you keep your pincode.

many hackers are afraid of, of course, I'm the one who donates money, Token can be lost in a snap, hackers can not get stuck because they see a lot of acounts, they're definitely going to hit them, so much more wallet for the sake of a ma'hack acount to you, you have much more protection,
so I can say that hackers are really different
im afraid from hacker

the most usefuld thing to defend ourselves from hackers is to be well informed of possible attacks and traps... And more rich you are - more defense/information we need

Do not be afraid and always put 2fa in every account that you think is important.
Your email should also be in pairs of 2fa because it is very risky if you lose your email containing your important data.

And do not be fooled by phishing. That's scary for now. So always bookmark your important website and do not manually typed.

Recently Bloomberg posted the information that it took hackers less than 10 years to steal over 14% of all existing Bitcoins and Ethereum from the wallets of their holders. The total sum they have stolen is more than $1,2 billion! How to protect yourself from hackers attacks? Are you afraid of this stuff?
