I get lost with the game name shortenings you all use, you expect everyone know what it means, but it is not the case  Tongue

DoTA: Defense of the Ancients, a mod of Warcraft III. http://www.google.com/search?q=dota

The game company Valve obtained rights to DoTA and released DoTA 2 in 2013.

I have a 13yr old son, so when I play something, generally I pick one of the games he plays so that I can relate.  Currently its DOTA2.  Kinda glad the Pokemon days are well behind us.  He does a lot of TF2 and a variety of others but am too busy to do more than a game every now and then so I just stick to one.
I am "Bungo" on steam.

Glad all those ex GPA miners are putting the hardware to use.  Keep up the good work.

Just a note:
Outlast is really a big scaring game. A lot of running action, jumpscares and other stuff, all with a good gameplay, really looking to get it.

Just ordered a PS2 to USB adapter and an N64 USB controller, I will now be having a Theme Park World and Banjo and Kazooie marathon to make up for how bad Rome 2 Total War was overall.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQ4VVIt-NGk

If only all theme parks were actually like this, then I might consider going Tongue

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-tfkFumKZY - I think freeze eazy peak was one of my favourite worlds Tongue

Edit: I wish I had found out about VMWare earlier but it's fantastic, just installing Windows 98 now and I'll soon have Theme Park World running I hope if all goes to plan Cheesy

I got lucky.  I got a kid that is kind, with a sense of humor and fun to be around.  He schooled me on why not to be a leaver before he would let me play with him.  Smiley  He is taller than his mother already so I give him lots of responsibility which he tends to handle pretty well.

He also taught a bunch of his gamer middle school friends how to mine litecoin.  Lately he has be hosting a garry's mod server, and has been asking me to punch holes in the firewalls for some of his other hosting endeavors.  He takes piano, trumpet, French, acting, Aikido and Java programming classes after school so unless I do something he is interested in, I don't get much time with him.  Games make getting that time with him easy.

I was getting illegal operation errors with VMWare so it might be worth a try.

Same here. Can't wait to try it out, it looks like an awesome game. Roll Eyes
Also, I tried that SCP game and I can say that it is as bad as slender. Not even remotely scary.

PS: Next person to buy Papers Please from me can have it for only $5 in BTC (steam price is $10). PM me for the 50% discount  Grin

Well, I still wonder what's wrong with people plaing those free "horror games" that is collect some shit while you're lost with a random monster running the map. No thriller, no history, no action, just running.

Well playing Banjo and Kazooie is some of the most fun I've ever had on the N64 and all you really do in that game is collect notes, jigsaw pieces and jinjo's all the time Tongue I think it's just all in the way it's presented and everything really, this is probably why a bunch of people just find CoD and Halo boring where as other people go "Ooooo bloom vomit!" and think it's the best thing ever >_>.

O_O oh that's bad, I didn't even notice GTA 5 >_< let's hope the PC version isn't just going to be a badly done console port stuffed with DRM.
