As mentioned it needs some more time at least to make a closer prediction. In reality from my personal experience every year there'll good price pumping in the second quarter of the year. This gives an additional hope that 2018 will be making bitcoin flourish than the days of 2017.

Without doubt I see it being better, its just a matter of time. But this is just my personal opinion, of course. A lot of you can disagree with me and I totally understand your opinions, nobody can predict the future, especially with crypto currencies values. Comparing them 2017 is a far better year for Bitcoin than this one, but Bitcoin is far more mainstream now, a lot of people now know about it. It needs to be better this will have a bigger positive impact if it happens as even countries which are under process to make it legalize or ban can become positive as govt would like to get more revenue. So taxing on profit is an ideal way to get an additional revenue.

Yes that is right that both 2017 and 2018 have too much differences in its beginning months, but as most of the investors are thinking that in the last months of 2018 bitcoin price is expected to increase too much may be it will even cross 30000$, therefore in this respect we can say that 2018 will be more better year for bitcoin as compare to 2017. No I am not agree with this statement because quarter year has already passed and bitcoin has fallen almost 9000 dollars from its peak, besides many people have predicted that the price will hit 70k till the end of 2018. How is it possible that the price of bitcoin will rise about 60000 dollars in just 7 or 8 months. The reality is telling something different. Many people afraid of investment in bitcoin.
