When will Apple accept bitcoins?

When they really need to. But they'll fight it hard! Apple's business model is to lock everything down -- very closed indeed. This does not align with the goals of bitcoin, at least, how I perceive them.

To be honest this thread and your theory will come sooner or later, because as you can see the bitcoin gaining more popularity than last year , and I think that apple will cooperate with bitcoin as a paying. Because bitcoin is still not illegal on some country so I think this is why apple still not accepting the bitcoin.

Apple were wise enough maybe they still studying it finding the pros and cons, once any of their competitors tries iy, they might think of using it too.

Their competitors do plenty of things that Apple doesn't, like open the platform for development for example. That's far more consequential than something dumb like accepting crypto. Apple isn't going to do anything that doesn't benefit Apple, and if you think getting involved in crypto to please a fringe minority matters to a company worth $850 billion, you're just wrong. Wishful, but wrong.

As a leading brand and company, Apple won't likely decide to accept cryptos unless they see it as an opportunity for them to generate more sales. Only a number of their consumers would be assumed to be using cryptocurrencies and it can't be said that it would be a benefit for them if Apple were to accept it. Apple should work on other features otherwise they may be left out. Other brands already have better features and if they don't improve, they Apple may lose their loyal customers.

bitcoin can help any of famous brand  to generate sales because bitcoin prices are often high and which can bring a lot of business to the region and i think apple are doing analysis on bitcoin and they will soon accept it,

I think apple will create their own encrypted currency if they want to accept encrypted currency!

It's a simple thing to do with apple's business status!

Yes thats very true. The history of Apple have remained such that it wants to create its own ecosystem wherein if you buy even one if its products, you inevitably need to buy or use several other products of the same company.

Its quite likely that if Apple ever wants to get into the crypto market, it would most probably create some own blockchain techniques and own digital currency, and no doubt it will be famous with the same speed as its any other product.

I don't think Apple will go into Bitcoin, block chain technology and the crypto currency world. I think they will rather create and build their own crypto and technology since they have the means and power to do so.

Apple as a company that relies on technology in its product should be able to implement blockchain in their system.
I just hope they implement a Blockchain system as Bitcoin or another new coin that matches with the system of their company.
it will definitely make the world a concern about Bitcoin more serious.

The management of apple should be the one that should know when apple will accept bitcoin. I think bitcoin will help develop and advanced there products and services. However,  apple may adopt another coin that will work with them and they may decided to develop their own coins on blockchain technology.

I doubt they will accept it unless they will be forced to by the market or by greed. Something democratic and decentralised is not generally inline with the culture of Apple.

Apple is a big company, which counter every technology which is not appropriate on their side. I think apple will find a way ot create their own blockchain to rival bitcoin which they have done to adroid.

I agree with desmond up there at first page. It will leave them a negative reputation that might just end up slowing down profits from the business itself.

If I am part of the shareholders I wont agree too. Bitcoin gained too much negativity and is too volatile.
Perhaps someday, but not now. Dont want to be losing money just because of one wrong decision.

I do not think that the big companies will accept bitcoins.

I have opposite opinion. They will accept bitcoins, its not something that they can still ignore for now. Market cap is getting higher and higher though it went through a big correction still it has an expensive price.

Large corporations like apple make huge amounts of revenue, so they would get huge amounts of crypto currencies as payment as well.

By accepting bitcoin as a payment method, it will give their customers other method which they are convenient of.

If they try to sell those large amounts, I assume it would have a decreasing effect on the price of the crypto currency they accepted as payment.

Even if Apple starts accepting payments in crypto I am sure that those payments won`t be with btc,  they would create their own coin. They have their own operating system so will be their coin

Apple is a big tech industry that can affect the bitcoin to a better position. They know their position and what's the big thing they could create if they adopt bitcoin, but I thought they have their own strategy. The last I heard, that CEO apple announced it had bought bitcoin in bulk, but then sold it back sometime later, on the grounds that the decision he made was based on the pressure of work.

Why apple  should take bitcoin? The apple has enough room to create its own block system. Only there must be reasons for openness. Using Apple Pay and Apple Pay Cash company hides personal information on user payments. I don't understand what actions in the business of Apple need openness.

Apple is a well known company in the field of technology that could have a better blockchain system in terms of transaction I'd they want to be a part of Bitcoin technology. Yet they should have encourage people and for then to know the risk of Bitcoin and other cryptocurreny in the market.

I doubt if this will ever happen. Though a lot of influencer business people and owners of top brand products might have seems to encourage bitcoin by investing in Bitcoin but i doubt if they will Implement it as part of their payment system for their business. And I guess this is because of the stand of the government concerning bitcoin. This people don't want anything that might affect the growth of their business.
