Not really, bitcoin haven't lost its popularity. Be it positive or negative, bitcoin is still on the news. There are a lot of speculations about bitcoin and the uncertainty of it makes it really mysterious to newbies.

Bitcoin is still king of the crypto currency in the crypto market. I don't think that bitcoin has lost its popularity. Bicoin is known almost all over the world.

Due to its high volatile nature  many investors looses hope upon it and stepping out from it. Its high transaction cost and slow money transaction made its user against it. And this thing highly affect on its popularity. For this reason people leave Bitcoin and start using other crypto coin. The media is another reason behind this topic. Many news channel show the negative side of Bitcoin and create a fear of it in its user. Ban in different countries is another reason behind Bitcoin's loosing popularity.

I think the popularity of btc still remain were infact since then untill now. The unpredictable price would even help to boost btc popularity.

how can he lose his popularity? it is rather a question whether he was really popular. I think this is due to the fact that a lot of people see it as pure speculation and are not fans of this currency and therefore, depending on the rate of ownership of bitcoin is constantly changing.

I would say yes or maybe because of the recent bad news about the bitcoin scam . Especially for those who don't  understand bitcoin when they heard about bitcoin nowadays they loose interest because of the fear to be scammed.

Unstable price is a very reasonable thing in the market, and maybe it's because of the influence of negative news about bitcoin. I'm sure bitcoin will not lose its popularity. in my opinion, i think bitcoin is not losing its popularity rather it is gaining popularity as the awareness is increasing and its useful is also increasing. people are becoming more aware of the usefulness, they have  seen it can used for various purposes other than buying it and selling at a higher price to make profit

I agree with all the above comments. Bitcoin popularity going down gradually but still its still the basis of Blockchain which makes it possible for it Not to go into extinction because it will always be used to purchase the recent altcoins.

Day by day their is a fall in Bitcoin's popularity. The increasing user of other crypto currency prove the above topic that bitcoin looses its popularity . The main reason behind this topic is its price at the international market. Last year its price is at his best but their is no such thing happened in this year and their is no noticeable increase in the price of Bitcoin in recent 3 month. This could be a reason behind investors loses hope ope for bitcoin. many powerful country like china, Israel, North Korea ban it in their country. So this is another reason behinds the above agenda

There are many factors that determine the value and reliability of a currency, so I do not think it is appropriate to focus so much on the price of bitcoin to determine its "popularity" or its long-term viability. It is obvious that your little knowledge of the market does not allow you to see in a broader way everything that the bitcoin revolution means for the modern economy, but I hope that little by little you learn that not everything is about speculation and easy money in this ecosystem.

There are many types of crypto. There is a lot of capital invested in other digital coins. The bitcoin market is being shared by other digital coin.
