I don't think so, it is far from dethroning bitcoin on this year, it will need a very hard work and times. Bitcoin still too strong and many peoples are tend to invest in bitcoin than any other coins, that what makes them difficult to beat.

When Ethereum collapsed, everyone's divorce of the ether was unacceptable. Now that the currency price has risen, the situation has reversed. Have seen this topic been discussed by bitcoin experts on tv than any other topic but the value of ethereum had not justified the accolades.  I expect to at thrive during the early in the year crypto crumble and slump. Actually ethereum had being more useful in ico lately as fund and block chain but am still struggling to see a obvious thrive on the market value

I think there is a very big possibility. Ethereum is one of the best cryptocurrencies on the market. It will have more room for growth in the future. At present, it seems that it is impossible to surpass Bitcoin. Things, but I believe it can do it.

the only hope for bitcoin to be still the number one is the bitcoin lightning network, if the bitcoin Lightning Network will fail, this will be a huge impact to crypto space and maybe Ethereum will dethrone bitcoin if that time will happen.

the chance of ethereum to compete with bitcoin is very open but it is very difficult. Although the price ethereum is rising but bitcoin also slowly goes up too slowly. Can happen if traders are not interested in bitcoin then ethereum that will be above bitcoin.

I agree that EHT can surpass BTC, because the potential of ETH is very powerful, multifunctional, and not just ETH is called a clever token, and one lag behind BTC is the popularity

In all sincerity, I do not see etherum overtaking bitcoin but in this market, anything can happen. The use case of etherum is massive and the demand is second to non because of how projects are building their platforms on their network. But, we would see how things goes.
