Ethreum the new king of crypto?

I think it will be possible in near term that Ether will be the king of crypto as you seen despite of this huge fall in over all currency Ether just down 40% from its top 1300$ level, mean investor still put their trust on Ether , at other side all currency and also Bitcoin as well down 60-70% or more from their top. And now a days many and many ICO coming and useing Ether platform most for their payment gateway Ether price will rise more even Ether will touch 2000$ in this year 2018.

I think it can happen, because I see ethereum is now stronger than bitcoin from the current price drop.

It looks like Ethereum is in the best condition comparing with other currencies. But Bitcoin still occupy about a half of the market but it wouldn’t decrease quickly. We will see a stubborn struggle between them.

This is very likely to happe while bitcoin's price declining most of the investors are thinking right now if bitcoin is still a good investment,surely they will search for a new alternative which gives ethereum more chance to be at the top because if there is only one coin that could replace bitcoin's leadership it woild be ethereum.

Etereum will always be the main one, because this is the basis of the blockchain! Regardless of the volatility, despite the huge prices for some coins!

I'm not sure that ETH will be the main coin. If this happens then most likely it will be some other coin which is not so well known I guess...

Unfortunately, ethereum's good price characteristics broke down in the near past. But I don't think that it is the end of the ethereum or a huge disaster for it. In my opinion, it is a big probability that it will reach its good old prices again and try again to be the king of the market.

The king must be alone. Bitcoin is a means of accumulating and storing financial assets. The ethereum is a cool technology that develops. But these are different things. I think that the king is alone, he is old, but he will always be. In my humble opinion.

I think we need king with PoS or DPoS not PoW. Hardware should not to lead in crypto world. Imho no BTC never ETH. But life give us king old or new

Well bitcoins demand is huge and etheruem has just started getting attention in the market and it's demand is increasing but still it's nowhere near bitcoins.It's hard to replace bitcoins yet I think that it would take long time to beat bitcoins and etheruem does has the potential and it is the best coin after bitcoins.

ETH in the graphs almost matches BTC ups and down. In fact, many people were trading ETH for BTC in December.

But the main reason is that in no more than 6 months, ETH will go to PoS with Casper. Millions and millions of dollars in GPU's will be worth almost nothing, the market will collapse with GPU, prices will go down AF, and ETH will not be able to be mined.

ETH IS NOT THE WAY TO GO RIGHT NOW, and noone, (other than retardeds) would put money onto this. ETH mining is almost dead, and Vitalik knows this. He will try harder to implement Casper as soon as possible before the market crashes ETH value.

Anything do have a possibility on these kind of scenarios but we cant still make such words on dethroning bitcoin into its place but if the time comes that bitcoins price is lowering on ETH price then theres no doubt on that. It would really be considered as the king when we do base on its actual value compared to bitcoin but as of now that thing is still far away to consider but yet we wont know on what would happen next.

Ethereum have a larger usability, unlike Bitcoin. The Ethereum platform has hosted many ICOs. Wide public support and no significant adverse events faced have Ethereum currently in a privileged position. I hope price can double by the end of 2018.

Yes, it will be the king of crypto. Every king should be replace by the prince. We see the obstacles that bitcoin has been through and still ethereum is still going up. Bitcoins price value dump 50% of it and it affects other altcoins too,  that depends in bitcoin. Ethereum has many great platfom and so many projects that has been using ERC20 and this is a great advantage of ethereum which the community is growing bigger.

Today BTC fees not high. I would say that low. And with LN it will be even less. If you think that BTC fall because it have high fee you are wrong. Fees will not be cause of BTC fall

An interesting point of view. But why the transition to POS will cause a collapse? Many people believe that this will give the opposite effect to ETH and make it a TOP1 coin.
