This is purely speculative and that cannot happen irrespective of the fact that speculators (and most of them are pessimist) have spoken to the contrary of what and how the cryptocurrency world is going.
To the new reader and investor. Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general is here to stay.

It's no news that currencies rise and fall, as a trend where market price fluctuates no one should be surprised about this blockchain trend. but the crux of the matter is that investors will never stop investing in bitcoin and as such, bitcoin will rise again. No fears

true, bitcoin is being dropped at this time. this is common in the market turnaround. not as you think and listen, bitcoin still has a higher selling value than any other crypto. only some factors make bitcoin low. I think in the next few months will be normal again.

Yes we can say that bitcoin is goin to be dead because eventually many countries are imposing bann on it and at the same time many social media sites are also blocking contents related to bitcoin digging.
Still Bitcoin have a potential cryptocurrency so don't under estimate the Bitcoin potential. Few countries only banned in the cryptocurrency but now south Korea is implemented the cryptocurrency and it fixed in the taxes of trading platform. Facebook and Instagram both are same platform I think these sites regulate the cryptocurrency because so many shit coins are available in the market. It is reduce the promoting of all the ICOs.

if you still believe in bitcoin of course you can continue to buy bitcoin and hold it. too fast to conclude that bitcoin will die and stop assuming that bitcoin will die.  keep optimist bitcoin will recovered, there are still many countries that accept bitcoin, bitcoin will reach $ 20k soon.

I heard that BTC is going down and will soon gonna be dead.

you say " will soon gonna be dead. " Shocked

What the hell do people have in their heads? Who told you that bitcoin is going to die? the price is falling because of pessimistic people. you need to stay calm and investigate the news before making any decisions.

Is it still a good idea to invest in BTC?

Of course it's a good idea to invest in bitcoin or do you think bitcoin will die soon?

if you still believe in bitcoin of course you can continue to buy bitcoin and hold it. too fast to conclude that bitcoin will die and stop assuming that bitcoin will die.  keep optimist bitcoin will recovered, there are still many countries that accept bitcoin, bitcoin will reach $ 20k soon.

I agree, some people have serious problems, they just let themselves be manipulated by any news site and do not investigate if the news is true

Which countries are imposing bans on BTC?

I think he got confused, many countries are warning his people about the dangers of investing in bitcoin. they do this warning, as something like those campaigns that the government is launching to prevention of some disease

Which media sites are blocking contents on bitcoin?

hahaha

I think he's talking about facebook

No one knows the future so any answer would be a prediction of the possibility. I believe that Bitcoin needs upgradation to deal with high transaction fees and confirmation time. Bitcoin has a tremendous potential to acquire the huge micro transactions market but in order to do that, the fee must be less than $0.01 and confirmation time should be less than 10 seconds. If we could somehow reach this target then I do see huge potential for the growth otherwise Bitcoin would remain as a player of international funds remittance industry.

And this is exactly the problem with Bitcoin.  If you "upgrade" it, it won't be Bitcoin anymore!  This is why Bitcoin is such a poor investment.  There will be numerous other cryptocurrencies that come along and replace it because they're more efficient and work better in the economy.

This is not true. Bitcoin will dead soon? Why because it will be more getting lower now? No thats not the reason why we must think about that but instead trust bitcoin on how bitcoin sow to us that it will going to explode soon. Bitcoin is the best coin I ever seen since from the day one of bitcoin there are many people oppose it for sure they never trust bitcoin before but look at Dec 2017 bitcoin hits $20,000 and this is impossible right? But bitcoin really hits $20,000 So everything is possible we must only believe that it will going to rise again.

I don't understand why people are afraid of bitcoin being dead, because it will never happen. Do you believe internet will die soon? Do you believe people won't use online chats? Yes, there was a time when people were skeptical even when they were thinking on whether to spend on a computer, or not. The same with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Only 2% of global population use it (if not mistaken), as soon as that number grows (and it definitely will), the price will get to the moon.

I don't think so. it impossible . it will not happen. it maybe on its dip now but it is not going to die.  try to look back on the previous years , compare to this year , this is not the biggest dip of bitcoin. only 48%  had decreased , there was april 2013 .It was 79%, but then bitcoin rise up again to its peak. this will going to happen also soon.

The answer is in our hands,if we continue to sell the bitcoins the it will die soon so we need to hold as long as the the demand of bitcoin gets increases which increases the price also.

So people or investors just hold your bitcoins to make it alive.

If you just hold Bitcoin, it will have no function and no reason to buy it.  It's worthless unless it gets spent.  It's not like other investments that produce cash flow.  This is one of the reasons it could very possibly fail.  There's just no intrinsic value in it.

Technically, bitcoin will be alive, as long as several computers with the program running on them continue to work. That is, to die, something extraordinary must happen, and most likely, if the community does not destroy itself from greed or negligence, in the coming years it will remain the main crypto currency.

upcourse we cant because bitcoin can become more high or become shitcoin but i don't think that bitcoin can be die easily because of too many advertisement and bitcoin was only new for technology it means it was too baby to die.  We know that too many coins died but bitcoin cannot die easily and even if it is die the world of cryptocurrency was there and we can start again at first.  The world bitcoin can be die but the meaning of it never dies.

A couple of months ago, this forum was flooded with posts on how fast bitcoin was going to reach $1,000,000,000,000,000. It was the right time to sell. Now, it is flooded with post like this one. Therefore, it is time to buy.

No one can predict that right.  Price of bitcoin is unpredictable.  I still believe that its price will still goes up and many will again invest.  Those who sold their investment bitcoin were those short time investor.  They just wanted to ride the height of bitcoin.  I did not believe that it will die.  It has been here for almost ten years already.

No one can be sure bitcoin will be down forever or no. The situation about down of bitcoin price same with about few year ago at october and bad news from cina country who is want banned bitcoin. But after that bad news bitcoin price going up very high and now bitcoin price back down again. That's normal in my opinion but about bitcoin down forever we never know.

You should have an overview of the cryptocurrencies market. In the past 3 years, Bitcoin's exchange rate has sharply decreased due to the impact of the new year in Asian countries. Moreover, it is predicted that by March there will be a strong rebound. So now it is good to buy Bitcoin and hold.

The important thing is the long term trend. Bitcoin is probably going to continue to appreciate, it's going to continue going up in price. It's going to get back up to $20,000 again and it's going to go higher.

Disclaimer: This is all opinion, please do not interpret it as investment advice. Acknowledge it but do not base any decisions on it.

we still not be able to use full potential of bitcoin in this modern society, we still need a long time to apply bitcoin in real use, by that way, bitcoin will not easily to die rightnow. this drop recently is not the sign bitcoin will die but this happens every year, we should accept this should be a normal situation of the market, bitcoin will be back for very soon.
