I'll share you some of the strategies I do in the crytocurrency world. First of all when I do jobs or join bounty companies the salary or the bounty I get from them sometime I hold it for a couple of months. Then I should look over the market and see if it is profitable. I take a look on it for about two times a week then exchange my coins to my preferred value. And that one is called holding. The second one is do some trading. Trade it to some other coins. And also when I do that I also hold it.

The real strategy here is to know which coin is good to invest. It is hard to know which to invest in all these coins existing. Predicting the movement of prices based on events and speculations is difgicult thing to mastet but once you are able to analyze how things move here in crypto world, it will be of your advantage. I prefer long term investments because in that way, you will be able to really feel the profit. The only downside is when a market crash occurs, similar to what have happened to bitcoin lately. The pump last year was extreme and then a sudden dump occured this year. The dump was roughly 50% and investors are now mourning over it.

Here are my two cents about it. There are actually different strategies being used by cryptocurrency investors and traders. I have heard several times the advice that it is best to buy during the dip. That is correct in the sense that the price is definitely cheaper. However, it may happen that the dip continues to a much lower price. Some others would say be safe and buy during the bounce. This is also correct in its own terms because indeed it is much cheaper. However, if you buy during the bounce you are actually missing some profit. Now, its up to you to choose. But as of this very point, the only best thing to do is buy and buy because the bullish trend is beginning to happen.

This is good strategy and has good risk management. Because i dont have many time for trading, i just doing long term trading and sell half of investment when reached 100% profit and buy others coin that has cheaper price and just tradeable in the market, but i also learn about fundamental analysis before decide which coin should i put my money. I would say that i like your strategy. My strategy is that if when i find a project that will be valued in the future and the price is still cheap, i buy and follow coin.  My target is usually to sell 50% of the coin when the price increases 2X. The remaining part is for longterm possible ascents. I've grown the capital much like this.

As investor, we just want our investment grow in value and of course all strategy only work when the price up because this is not forex where you can get profit when the price down too.
This strategybis good to use to avoid our greedy to make good profit in 10x value.

I use to trade in short term. I choose a coin which have regular predictable waves (+-20-30%) and set buy and sell orders on the bottom and top of these waves. And it most cases it works for me. I also tried the strategy that you described but it's applicable only for a long term trading.

I do the same. For me, I join ICOs get their tokens and then use it as capital to buy low priced coins that I could dispose for a little but okay-ish profit. I have set my eyes before on the big players like Bitcoin and Eth; however, I don't have that much capital, and since low cost altcoins could be easily bought and have more chances of at least increasing value from half to double of what I bought them for, then I began to think that it would be more effective to trade them than trying on those higher valued ones. At least with the low tier altcoins, I could buy more and I could dispose easily not worrying about major market trends and movements.

For me, I usually set a percentage of profit to reach, when I reached that percent of gain then that is the time sell some of my profit and buy me some new promising coins. It is also the time to get my investments back and put it to other use, it could be in the crypto world or out side of it. This way I never lose money inside the crypto world or not.

My simple strategy is to sell when I get a profit or a few percent increase on the coin, any strategy if the market crashes it will not be worth, you also need analysis and choose which coin is likely to rise @ 2.00. I think if with a little fund your strategy takes a lot of time and if it stops at @ 2.00 then goes down, what to do?

In crypto strategy I used only short term trade let say I bought 300 sat then sell to 400 sat only a little pump up on that way you have already a profit although not too much big profit but you gain. So best way is to buy on deep price or downfall then sell it when you feel that you gain.

That very good strategy, thanks for sharing. I will follow that your strategy. Currently my strategy is day trading with take profit between 10%-30% but when market on bullish strong i often miss big profit. And i also use cut loss strategy to reduce any risk in trading. At the moment little bit profit from my trading. I hope later i can make better strategy to get consistent profit from trading.
