I don't know about the "end" part of what he's saying, as I don't think bitcoin is going to end.
I have great respect for Warren Buffet, and I understand what he's saying and why he said it. There's no business backing bitcoin, and no government. It's just the free markets that are responsible for whatever price bitcoin is, and as of late it doesn't even seem like the market is exactly "free". I think it's being manipulated, big time. And he's kind of right--the market has dropped over 50% after rising an incredible amount. That's enough to give most investors pause. But remember, he's only one voice and he's not always right.
I think the end he was alluding to is that for some persons, their venture into Bitcoin and the cryptocurrencies in general is likely to end in fiasco just like Warren Buffet predicted if for no other reason, the fact that most players presently into cryptocurrencies are not anywhere equipped for the dictates of the market nor willing to learn. The tail-tale signs are already obvious in their panicking over the FUD spread by haters of Bitcoin.

You never know behind the scenes what is going on, just try to get your own predictions of prices or the improvements on cyrpto currency. BTC can be zero or 1mio but the point is nobody know when will it be so it gives you a space to make profit.

What is your opinion as per Warren buffet statement, he is a wealthy giant globally he told CNBC on Wednesday the recent craze over bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies won't end well. "In terms of cryptocurrencies, generally, I can say with almost certainty that they will come to a bad ending," Am really scared hope the end is not near. I want to hear from knowledgeable individual what the future holds.
Many respected people have said that with their ignorance and later retract the statement in future when they see the benefits of the new technology in blockchain...

It is just his own opinion on cryptocurrency. He is known to be a non-crypto supporter so we should expect this kind of statement from Warren Buffet. This kind of statement will only create FUD but somehow you need to be smart on what to do with your crypto. We all had our own opinion towards crypto may it be negative or positive.

Also Warren Buffet won't end well, and if we consider his age he is more likely to not end well long time before Bitcoin would not end well. Nothing in this universe ends well. Not even the universe.

The Crypto currency will unambiguously develop, improve and strengthen. It is generally quite progressive and technically perfect, and also positively evaluated by those people who got acquainted with its technology and digital coins in practice. Therefore, in general, only prosperity awaits the CIS. As for bitcoin, here everything is not so simple. Now he is experiencing hard times due to the presence of his shortcomings in it. The future of bitcoin directly depends on the speed and quality of eliminating these shortcomings.

Ever since Bitcoin started, there were negative opinions worldwide. All I can say is, no one is certain about what is going to happen in the future. Bitcoin is unpredictable no one or even an expert can predict of its outcome.

He is just a very dumb old man who doesn't really understand technology.
This proves that nearly everyone here can also become a billionaire eventually!!! Keep up the good work.

Warren Buffet is rather an old-school investor. Although he is the second richest man in the world, he has always been known to the world as a very careful investor. And perhaps because of this, he sees Bitcoin and crypto as very risky and dangerous things to venture into. But perhaps we should also try to listen to the richest of them all, Bill Gates. Bill Gates is much younger and known to be into new technological innovation. The man is saying a lot of good things about crypto and Bitcoin.

maybe this how hi is trying to manipulate the market, so if his statement will affect the market and because it's negative - the price for btc falls, Warren buy some btc, and sells it after any positive news, no matter what, easy 10-20% for him

People are now imune to this kind of news and this is not already new , as we always heard a fake news or fuds about bitcoin said by different famous people like warren buffet , charlee lee, roger ver, etc. One thing i know for sure, bitcoin wont end because bitcoin is too usefull and people cant posibly live without it.

it is interesting that when someone says something negative about bitcoin, it keeps being quoted a lot of times for years but when someone says something positive about bitcoin it is quoted once or twice and then is forgotten.
so let me ask you one thing, would you have done anything different if for example Warren Buffet said bitcoin is the best thing that was invented in 1000 years?

I will say that Warren Buffet has more experience than me and has already shown that he knows how to invest. I’m not famous, surrounded by advisers and billionaire, so I must be wrong if I do not agree with him. Bitcoin is not just a coin but a technological revolution. And we can not go against blockchain, smart contracts. That's why I do not think it's the end. I do not count the number of times the bitcoin is dead

Regarding WARREN BUFFET, his concerns are understandable. its also important to note that from past experience bitcoin has never gone according to anyone's predictions. it always under performs at first but comes bouncing stronger.

Buffer's vice chairman has also been ripping into bitcoin: http://uk.businessinsider.com/charlie-munger-on-bitcoin-the-more-popular-it-got-the-more-i-hated-it-2018-2?r=US&IR=TThe 94-year-old vice chairman at Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway referred to bitcoin as a "noxious poison" Wednesday during a shareholder meeting for the Daily Journal, a publishing firm for which Munger serves as chairman and director.
"I never considered for one second having anything to do with [bitcoin]," Munger said, according to a report by Yahoo Finance's Julia La Roche. "I detested it the minute it had been raised. The more popular it got, the more I hated it."
Munger thinks the government needs to step up its game when it comes to regulating the cryptocurrency.
"Our more relaxed approach is wrong," he said. "The right answer is to step on it hard. It's the government's job." Sounds like he's mighty upset at having missed the trade of teh century.

I respect his opinion but this does not mean Im going to panick. I did my own research so I believe in Bitcoin and in a good future, maybe eventually something happens but until then I am trying to make the best out of it. This is why I think doing your own research is crucial, a little FUD should never even make you think about selling your portfolio.
