Everything is possible especially in the crypto world but for another coin to replace the position if Bitcoin seems quite impossible for now.  In terms of competition, one coin that can be compared to Bitcoin is Ethereum. Even with this direct competition Ethereum has with Bitcoin, Bitcoin seems to be far ahead in terms of market capitalization which is about 2.5 times higher than Ethereum.

well it is not impossible for that to happen, but i think it will take a lot of years for them to reach the level of bitcoin, because bitcoin is the most well established coin out there

Bitcoin is still number one crytocurrency, although its price is dropping in this days.
But eventhough the price is loosen no other cryptocurrency like eth and lite coin reach its price. Even the ethereum,but who knows, ethereum is doing great in this days. But in my side its hard to beat the BTC it takes a couple of years to replace it on its position. I think that no one will catch up with bitcoins

Bitcoin can be superseded by another coin if bitcoin should mess up, in fact no matter how less preferred the other coin may be if bitcoin should refuse to maintain it royal value, users will definitely shift. Nope, not now, not tomorrow, not next week, but I won't say not ever though. We should always be continuously improving so I hope the same will happen in regards to crypto, if no better coin comes along that bitcoin should improve it's few week points which I already see happening soon

In my opinion there is no other coin to take the crown because in my knowledge bitcoin is the only coin for take the crown and the king of all coins and the rate of this coin is very much right in the market and is the future coin in this industry and the market is slow in this time.

I don't think that is going to happen. Look at the price of the various alts on the market now, it seems nothing can survive without Bitcoin.

it may be, but not for the next 5 years because Bitcoin still has advantages that other coins do not have, I believe someday bitcoin will be overthrown.

If the crown belongs to the highest marketcap, then yes, we will see other cryptocurrencies take the crown every once in a while.

Most of the times BTC will be the king (at least in near future), but other coins will try for the top spot, and sometimes they succeed and become king for a while.
