I am confused at your question, How do you Hodl or quit. I mean these are two different things. Hodl and Quit are two different items. You hold your crypto and you hold your coins and that would be it just hodl and wait. While quitting is another thing, you stop doing cryptocurency altogether, you quit being someone who works and trades for bitcoins and ethereum and others. Zilch you stop thats it. So please clarify your question. How to hold? or HOW TO QUIT?

There are many people who would say to just hold because once the bearish market settles and then have a bull run again then you are in for a good profit but if you are earning crypto for a living then you should think twice if this is really for you because we cannot be in a bull market all the time as evidence by what is happening now.
