hello guys, ive been following this thread since beginning.

just a quick question from noob here..

i have some ltc on my trezor before the fork and just wanna ask is it possible to claim LCC and if yes, how?

thanks guy

I had LTC on my Trezor wallet during the time of the fork also. I'm wondering if anyone has figured out how to claim LCC from a Trezor wallet or if it is even possible. Has anyone done this yet?
I'm not all that familiar with products like Trezor but from what I've read, there's no way to get the private key out if it so you wouldn't be able to do it. Don't think I'd like that myself but I guess that's the price one has to pay for having the additional security. However, if you had a separate wallet and then imported the private keys into Trezor, and you can still get or have that private key, you should be able to do it. You might want to ask the question on their reddit though.

https://www.reddit.com/r/TREZOR/

Edit: I just found the following info but it applies to bitcoin. Might be able to do the same thing with litecoin if you can find a wallet that uses a passphrase as well. There's this one https://electrum-ltc.org/ but it talks about a 12 word phrase and Trezor uses 24 so not sure if you can make it work or not.

Remember, once you get your private key, but before you import them into the LCC wallet, you want to move all your coins from your Trezor wallet to a brand new one so the old one has 0 in it.

"If you want to see the private keys you can create a wallet on Electrum using the seed words from your Trezor. This will create the bitcoin wallets for you where you will be able to see the private keys. I will however strongly advise you not to do this. If you do this you might compromise the 24 seed words and this is the last thing you want to do. Those 24 seed words is like a master private key. Anybody who gets their hands on them have full access to your whole wallet so consider them as compromised if they have 'touched' a computer."

First time I see this, has the fork already happened? Is this listed yet? Thanks to people that will answer me and sorry if I didn't read all the 53 pages.

Sorry fork happened two days ago.  If you had your LTC in an offline  wallet you may be in luck to claim LCC.  Coinomi wallet says they will support this LCC fork.  Many exchanges will not give the 10:1 LCC to LTC. If your LTC was on an exchange you might be out of luck.

Yes, LCC listed on some  smaller exchanges and trading platforms. Yobit.net, mercatox, tradesatoshi, cryptobridge and meanxtrade.

I've downloaded the LCC wallet and bootstrap for about 6 hours. I run the update for about another 6 hours. I've to import my LTC private key and done re-scanning but no LCC shows after doing so Huh why?

Check your public address on litecoinca.sh. Where was your LTC at before block 1371111?? U need the private key for that address to get your coins.

Good post! I just assumed the person had their LTC on an offline wallet during the peak of block 1,371,111!

Should we make a new LCC wallet address before importing the LTC private key?

My LTC is in my LTC core wallet before the block.

Yes, you will need a LCC wallet to get LCC coins using your LTC private keys.   To be safe move your LTC to a temporary wallet and sweep the LTC private keys from the empty LTC wallet  in to the LCC wallet.  Once you are done you can move your LTC  back to the original wallet.  Result is 2 wallets. One with LTC and one with LCC. Good Luck!!!

Yes! I finally got it! Thanks a lot all of you...

Hello,

Please help, my LCC wallet is showing balance 0. Private key was already imported and rescan was run.

LCC Explorer is showing correct LCC balance for my LTC address https://explorer.litecoinca.sh/address/.......

I had LTC at the fork time on my Ledger nano so I had to re-generate private key with "Mnemonic Code converter"

What I did to get private key:
  • entered 24 words in BIP39 Mnemonic (https://iancoleman.io/bip39/)
  • coin: LTC
  • derivation path: BIP49
  • then I found my address in first column and copied its private key from third column (this address is showing LCC balance https://explorer.litecoinca.sh/address/.......)
  • imported private key into fully synced LCC wallet (10 nodes connected)
  • exited wallet and restarted it with -rescan parameter

Balance is still showing zero. Any ideas?

When I look in the transaction https://explorer.litecoinca.sh/tx/...... it says my balance was "Not yet redeemed"

Thank you in advance!
BIP 32 tab
derivation path: m/44'/2'/0'/0

Block chain confirmations of your transaction  could take some time.
Can you update us on your status? Did your LCC show up in your wallet?
I am a few hours away from having a sync'd wallet andwill  try to input my private keys.
I am VERY interested to hear if you have been successful!

Yes. I can get it from various private key so far.

Done it after my wallet are upto date. Fyi

After the public announcement of LCC as a "scam" by Charlie  Lee on twitter and many uninformed people saying that LCC is a scam on reddit, stock twits Facebook and elsewhere.....  I am hoping the development team continues their excellent work.

It will prove all the people who said this was a scam completely wrong!

Great coin with 90% lower transaction fees than LTC.  No wonder charlie Lee is afraid of LCC!

Well, I've been in the Discord pretty much all day, watching...

The usual collection of trolls, of course, but the devs are very active, and actively trying to get on other exchanges.

Several surprises for me. I thought this was gonna be another instant bust. I figured, why not? Free money. But these dudes seem serious.

The devs are (quietly) pretty upset with Yobit. MeanXTrade is a brand new exchange, and it's owner has been in the discord trying to get things rolling. He seems trustworthy, but his exchange tends to break. To his credit, he's right there with the wrenches.

I've no idea what the price will settle at, but given the energy of the dev team, and the fact that the launch wasn't a total disaster, just a bit delayed, I'm thinking it might go somewhere. I'm not gonna dump instantly. Might pick up few more on Mean while they're cheap Cheesy

Thanks for spending your time and giving us your thoughts/updates from discord.

If you read up from page 1 you will see that there is plenty of examples on how to use different wallets just for the fork, at this point, if you want to split i suggest you remove all balances from your device and burn it after the split.
