You bought at a wrong time mate and not only you but many people bought at that price hoping that price will reach to $25k to $30k after that but that didn't happen and price started to fall back rapidly and now if you sell then you will be making huge loss on your investments so the only option left for you now is to hold your coins til it doesn't cross $19k once again and I think to see that price you need to wait till the end of the year.

I bought 3 btc on credit for 19k about. What should I do? I am way underwater.
There are so many people that bought Bitcoin when it value was so high with their own personal money and not borrowed money like yours. Although there is hope that an upward trend will start in the future but while waiting for the market to return to your entry point you must have learn a had lesson on crypto currency investment. Please only your money and what you can afford to lose.

In the first place, it is not advisable for you to take a loan for crypto currency investment as the market fluctuations is very high. What you need do is to wait patiently pending when its value appreciate before you sell for selling at the current market value of Bitcoin is sucider.

Need to be patient at this time, it is not a magic that comeback again to that price, it is normal in the market of bitcoin. For sure, ut will recover in the future and we can not know that time instead need to hold our coin to avoid losing. You choose investing and it is for long-term, and cryptocurrency is very risky, there's no way to earn easy money, it has hindraces. And be positive, if you have another source if income, then use the profit in your needs and hold the bitcoin.

I would like to tell to you that everything is going to be okay and that the price will recover very soon but I will be lying to you if I said that to you, the truth is the market is going to remain like this for a long time and you probably made the biggest mistake of your life by buying those bitcoins on credit at the top of the market, I hope that you recover but I find it very doubtful.

Spend your 3 expensive BTC on a bet that pays 3-1 odds.  If you win then you got your money back and can cash out..  if you lose, then forget about it

By the way, you can make a very good step - invest your Bitcoins in some trusted ICO. Surely, before doing it, you should learn everything about the project.

You sound very good in your proposals, but you have to consider what a person invested in Bitcoin at $ 19,000. To date, He has solid losses and today he does not want anything else, How to store his coins and wait patiently.

are you kidding me ?
we are a traders not the gamblers, this is a foolish action to cover up the loss.
i do not recommend this for anybody.

the only solution for it is by finding a newly reborn project with a potential.
there're a lot of projects created everyday, even though the majority were shit.we could not deny it that some of them came up with a good and potential idea.
invest your money into it and holding it for a month.
i am pretty sure you can cover up your losses by finding a good one, because it could increase your position by 2 folds if you are lucky enough.
(bear it in your mind that most of them are scammers)

First of all buying at 19k$ was not a good  decision. It was a very high price and at that time Bitcoin was expected to fall by some margin or at least a correction was expected. You should have waited for that correction.Talking about the present,I will say that the only option left with you is Holding your BTC's.This is because the current price of Bitcoin is near about 9k$ which is very much lower than 19k$.So if you will sell your BTC's now then you will have to face a huge loss.So I will advice you to hold your BTC's because it has a potential to rise again to new heights. No doubt it will take some time but it is the only way in which you can save yourself from facing huge loses.

If you will invest on other coins, the more you have losses because not only btc is experiencing that downtrend today but all crypto. I think its better to hold your coins and wait for the price to rise.

Since you bought 3 btc at 19k and you didnt sell anything, because all those idiots here told you to HODL, and it's now trading at $6800 you now have lost $36.600. That's a lot of money. Since you borrowed it, you need to make that back.

Ok, do this: sell your bitcoin, buy some sexy clothes and start selling your ass on the streetcorner. If you give intercourse experiences for $50 to gay people, you only need to bend over 732 times and then you've made all your money back. It's probably the fastest way: if you have sex with 4 gays per day, you will have your money back in just a half year!. You could also rob a bank but you might end up in prison or get shot. If you decide to go for the ass-selling route, then at least do use condoms though, you don't want to get any diseases. Good luck! Oh and don't forget to thank everybody here in this thread for their HODL advice, it's because of their advice that you now have to sell your ass on the streets.

It was both hard having time to play altcoins because it depending to the bitcoins price and so we can say that if he used to sell as of now what he bought at $19000 is very huge more than half of his money was loss. But thats trading we even didn't know when we are going to lose the best thing to do right now is to enjoy the day and don't watch the prices.

Playing the altcoins right now is a bad advice, if you're not an experienced trader.
The more Bitcoin continues to go down, the even more the altcoins will suffer!
My advice would to hold if the money he invested won't be needed.
These are tough times, especially if you bought the top. On the other hand if you go through this time you will be prepared for futures bear cycles. They are part of the market cycle and will always happen. So try to see the positive in those bad times.

The best you can do now to your btc is to hold it. Like all people say here always careful when you buying bitcoin always buy when it's dip don't buy when it's high price because it's more chances to lose a profit when bitcoin go down the price.

Unfortunately, people make poor financial decisions and they do not listen to good advice and then they want to complain when things fall apart. A lot of us are constantly telling people not to finance their bitcoin investment with dept. Crypto currency investment is a HIGH risk investment.

What is your monthly instalment on that credit?

If you did not buy bitcoins with credit, I would have suggested this strategy, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2878321.msg29569366#msg29569366 but it is even more risky at this stage, because it might put you in deeper trouble if you financed this with debt.

The only thing to do now, if you cannot afford to pay the debt, is to sell say 1 of the coins and to pay the debt with that money. Then you must hope that the price might recover and that the remaining coin or coins will cover the losses.
Yap. That is great strategy for now. At least you can minimize your potential losses. After btc fell continuously, i think you should sell some of your assets to cover the installment.
