I think the best solution will be to wait for the price increase, like now it has started to slowly go up, so we are getting patience
Investment in bitcoin needs courage to bear any kinds of situations and patience to hold your bitcoin for long time. Now you have to wait till the price reached again to that level, but keep in mind that it will take time and nobody can say anything about the future price of bitcoin. Now you have $10k deficit in your investment. Be cool and wait for some more time.

to cover the cost of such a purchase, you need to wait for the price increase to be higher than 19k
That's true, you still need to wait for more, but if you have an excess income you can also add some investment with bitcoin while bitcoin price is still low so that you will get back what you lose before and you can sell your bitcoin as early as you wanted.

Just wait for the right time would be the key, even if you will stack up your money in a bank there is no assurance too that you will earn from it, so you are still in the right hand, although we are still in half of the price last year it is still not the end of everything, so just hodl and don't lose hope.

I bought 3 btc on credit for 19k about. What should I do? I am way underwater.
all you need to do is wait for the increase in price of bitcoin for about 3 to 4 months and bitcoin price will be back to $19k+ per bitcoin, so you shouldn't worry about the deceased bitcoin price, it already always happen in a market that for every seller there is a buyer.

Stay confident and keep on being patient, bear market will be coming soon this year, you will have a big advantage this year. If you have seen the market skyrocket high and exceeded the previous high value, then immediately sell it and leave crypto, if you do not have the patience and strong confidence in crypto.

Well if you don't owe that credit back in the next 6 months I would say hodl onto the BTC. If you gotta pay it back relatively soon and can't wait then unfortunately you should liquidate and take this as a lesson never to buy an asset on credit. That is even more riskier than putting all your money in, which is something that is never advisable to do!

It depends on what kind of credit he took, maybe he got a good credit in which he only needs to pay a low amount of interest every year in which case he could hold for long enough for the price to go up and then sell for a profit, but if he used a credit card to pay for the coins then it is very likely that he is going to get very high interest rates and even with a huge growth in the price it is not possible to know if he will be able to pay his debt.

All you have to do now is you have to hold all the Bitcoins you have until the Bitcoin price goes up high again. Do not let you sell Bitcoin that you have at the cheap price. You must be extra patiently waiting for the price of Bitcoin to be at the top again. I am sure by the end of 2018 this Bitcoin price will be very high and you will benefit a lot.

I doubt if that amount can  reached again this year, but it will be reached again for sure the date only is undefined, it just really shows that buying at peak in any coins leads to a more long holding, but atleast in btc we are sure it will be reached again, unlike in other alts.

Well in reality, it's really hard to fight emotions and greed because you'll never know when it is a good opportunity. We all say be logical but sometimes I also do make bad trades. It's a matter of experience I guess.

@ontopic, you've actually got no choice but to hold, unless you're ready to take on the losses.

Hope you are not in desperate need for that money.
To my opinion the only right thing you can do is wait. Everything else would lead to huge loss.
Maybe from current perspective it doesn't seem so but I'm convinced that Bitcoin price will reach 20000$  and more again, but it's the question of time. Maybe it will take a long time but it will happen.
In the meantime I hope you've learned something from that experience that will make you a better trader in the future.

That's why you don't buy crypto with money you can't afford to lose, and much less using credit. Hold and wait. Put all your BTC on offline wallets and forget about them for a year. Maybe you end up with 50% of ROI, but maybe with nothing.

Making stop-loss is not that logical at this tage for a person who bought his bitcoin at $19k price. He better hold it in long run so he will be able to recover that huge loss as the market goes up. This is not that hard, only bad side is that he can't use that funds in somewhere else. It will be like locked in bitcoin buy positions.

Nothing needs to be done. You're an investor now. Look once a year at your investment. You can buy a little more at a lower price.

I also buy a bit of bitcoin when the price is $ 19k, and if we sell for $ 9800 today we would have to cut loss, but I'm sure that the price soon goes past $ 19k and happens this year, I'm optimistic and always be patient to wait for it to happen .

First dont panic just wait. In time price will come to this 19k and will go over it then you can cash out or wait for something bigger from that point. Most important is patience just be that and everything will be fine and you dont need to worry.

In business and investment is certainly a common thing if the losers, if you buy at a price of $ 19k while the price today is only $ 9800 then hold is the thing we have to do, if we sell now then we will be losers and regret because the end of the year the price will reach $ 50k.
