Government possibly can kill crypto because there are many countries that ban bitcoin for use in the country. If each country makes a decision about bitcoin they will definitely kill crypto.

The article is really great, there's a lot info to think about. Regarding the topic, IMHO if we talk about governments they can't kill crypto on their own. But the WORLD government can do anything and kill anybody and anything if it appears a big problem or threat for them. Although with crypto it will be more complicated cause world government has too big and clumsy fingers Smiley

Nope, lot of people from the countries that banned crypto still active on the market with a help of proxy and Tor. It's a problems, yes, but not the end.

"Regardless, just because South Korea, China, the US and other countries can crush Bitcoin by issuing new regulations and influencing cryptocurrency prices, it doesn’t mean they can kill it".  The above quote is from the research information I got when I was trying to find out why world government is fighting crypto. Please read the full text here: https://www.ccn.com/fighting-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-trading-threat-government-policies/ and make your own contributions. It will help cool the nerves from the crypto dip we are experiencing recently. Happy reading. Thanks
Thank you for sharing, in times like this we need something to read that will help us hold stronger so we can survive this huge FUD
that has already made a panic by the weak hands, they will not understand if they will not educate themselves and a good article is a good help.

If the cryptocurrency will be a threat to the financial system, the economy of a particular country, then the government will take any action to protect itself. The instinct of self-preservation will work.

Government is fight cryptocurrencies because their fiat system might be in danger if cryotocurrencies are fully implemented to the world government and their fiat system wont have any use, most of the people use cryptocurrencies as major payment to the point the cash will no longer usable thats why they are starting to get alarmed by bitcoin and all the cryptocurrencies.

Government is banning cryptocurrency not because the fiat system in danger (it is NOT in danger) but because they can't control the cryptocurrency and that seems like a threat to them.

Nobody can kill crypto, because they are a really nice statement how it could work in the future! The people need just a little bit more to realize how useful it is. There will also come so many new project that will have nice usecases in 2018 and that is the best way to go mainstream soon.

Of course, the government can try to kill the crypto currency market. But I do not think that this attempt will end successfully. They should try to settle this or transfer it to the legal way, since it threatens by inflation. In terms of economics, I understand why they do it. In terms of constructiveness - I do not agree. Since you can come up with a compromise, so that the wolves were not hungry and sheeps were intact.

Government can only try to put a spoke in its wheel, but you can not bring a decentralized movement down. This is technical impossible.

I think that governments are not so stupid as to try to kill the crypto. Even more than that, they are smart and they will be able to direct all this to their own benefit. The anarchy of this cryptoworld can become an illusion after some time.

yes, the government can not kill cryptocurrency. I wonder why the government is suppressing the cryptocurrency because the government is strategizing for the country to also benefit from cryptocurrency, perhaps by launching the official crypto of the country.

I like this article. Bitcoin can't be killed easily. Governments will lose absolutely. One day the crypto currencies will be the universal currency.

I think its YES, because if all countries get banned all crypto in the world. we all people dont have any power to stop that. they can banned all ip that related in crypto then people managing that will send it to jail like a criminal just to kill crypto rotating worldwide, even though there are other country that really had an acceptance in crypto, but if they want to, they can in just one action by them.

Have fun tracking our Monero. It's none of the governments business. Their attempts to grab into our pockets are just pathetic.

Unfortunatelly , I think it's possible . Look how volatile crypto is . All you need is just spread a few "bad" news , doesn't matter it is true or not , and a whole market droping down significantly . So it is very easy for governments to kill crypto if they interact together

we are building the future of money.

There is a bill on the u.s senate that will give us some freedom of using cryprocurrencies few of these politicians are surely into crypto business that is why they are making some move so the regulation wont hurt much of U.S citizens, cryptocurrency isnt really a threat to government we just need to give them some small taxes so they wont regulate most of the crypto related activities. But killing crypto wont be possible if few governments will regulate it,but if all the countries will ger some regulations it.migjt be the reason why our whole marker will collapse so lets hope it wont happen, otherwise we are done.

There is a possibility but they can not totally kill cryptocurrency maybe they will limit only thr users and investors .Successfully regulating cryptocurrencies is a difficult and long process for countries, as we've seen over the last few months. That's especially true when there are numerous regulatory bodies in a country that all want to take a different approach. And, even as some countries like China , Russia trying take precaution on cryptocurrencies.
