i dont think so. each country has own benefit and the government will do all thing for that benefit. So, they wont ban crypto together. For example, Japan warn Binance exchange and now, the devs of Binance is moving it to Malta.

I think that no government can completely prohibit crypto-currencies. They can only deceive a large number of people in the fact that this is all a bubble, as it is happening lately)) But in general this new financial direction of the whole world and stop it will not be able to stop at anyone!

"Regardless, just because South Korea, China, the US and other countries can crush Bitcoin by issuing new regulations and influencing cryptocurrency prices, it doesn’t mean they can kill it".  The above quote is from the research information I got when I was trying to find out why world government is fighting crypto. Please read the full text here: https://www.ccn.com/fighting-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-trading-threat-government-policies/ and make your own contributions. It will help cool the nerves from the crypto dip we are experiencing recently. Happy reading. Thanks

yes they can actually end cryptocurrency if they will ban bitcoins on their area but still there are countries who are being affected by cryptocurrency in a positive way so do not worry because you can still use bitcoins in other countries.

If the governments of different countries unite the ambition, then theoretically they will be able to end crypto forever. However, I do not think that this is in their own interests. Potentially a crypto market can be a way out of a deep financial crisis

Pretty scary but true. Bitcoins or this whole industry can be banned and cease to exist if ever all
governments in this world literally unites to ban cryptos completely. But as what I see, I think that
it is quite impossible to happen since a lot of countries are already in favor of bitcoins and other
cryptos in this industry because of the innovations they offer and the real problems that they can
solve.

Of course it can! Do not underestimate the "world Government" Smiley. For example, the government of China, which, according to rumors, promised to prohibit cross-border transfers of bitcoins, has dropped the BTC rate by 10% in several hours. Are there any doubts?)

It is impossible to only one government to kill the cryptocurrencies market at all but if the most countries/government has banned cryptocurrencies it might be the reason why our community will collapse, because who will support our currency if there is no country who supported it ?

The best thing about crypto is its decentralization. So it is obviously impossible to kill something which has no central point to be destroyed. So governmental regulations can do some harm to coins’ rates, but not kill them.

Government cant kill the crypto because crypto is autonomous,It is possible government can ban but can not kill it. Cryprto have its own system no  need of third party to make transactions so crypto will survive forever.

I love it when the Fudders and the doomsayers start flocking whenever there's a thread that tackles about the so called "death" of cryptocurrencies, spreading their word of doom. Albeit they have lots of cash to buy more extra coins once it dips.

they can not kill crypto. because crypto is based on blockchain technology which is decentralized and anonymous. noone can kill or stop processes. Only traders and miners can kill crypto. governments can only demand more taxes for money transfers between banks and exchange platforms.

I used to think it was a war . Now I understand that it's just competition. Coca Cola and Pepsi have the same owner. But these are competing products .

Yes, government can Kill Crypto if they want, but I think they have been advice that the good out way the bad, if not that the whole space would be over by now. I know some people feel this is not possible but we have seen shadows of what these Governments can do, especially US, if US want something down they have the power and influence to get  it done

If they want to do this, they will be able to do it, so today it's not fair to talk about such things. They have all the levers of pressure on this and they need only an excuse, if they want, then I do not doubt that they can do it.

I think the government can not kill crypto, the government's worry in the crypto is their fear of illegal deals such as smuggling, drugs and others, the government can only arrange crypto, if indeed the government wants to kill it then they have to kill the internet network on earth and it can not be them do it.  Grin Grin Grin

In my opinion, Bitcoin is applying the principle from the free market to the currency in the digital age. It is a substitute for centralized government control. Of course, with the powers of the government, they can restrict bitcoin and the crypto market in many respects. However, to suppress bitcoin, the present is impossible. Market capitalization from the community or investors is a big deal for any action from the government. Russia and Ukraine are aiming to regulate bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. They are open to accept bitcoin and crypto in a special way. That suggests that governments need to find alternatives to maintaining bitcoin and blockchain as an effective alternative in the industrialization era.

I do not know whether they are fighting or not. But I see a drop in the cost of bitcoins and a decrease in the capitalization of all cryptornics. Plus, the panic of people is gradually increasing.

Cryptocurrency will live as long as there are people who are interested in it. And some cryptocurrencies can only be killed by starvation of all investors.

I think no, bitcoin already exist in 2009 and if they really do want to end bitcoin, why not years ago? Crypto is now being well known all around the world and I think that it is already too late to stop it now. They can create a lot of bad news about cryptocurrecny so that the price will dip but not end it.
