In order for governments to defeat cryptocurrencies, they need to unite, and this will never happen. Is it serious? Now in the world there are three types of sockets only because the countries could not agree on a single standard and you expect that they will be able to agree on how to win crypto?

Right, it has been unable to prevent the development of block chain and coins, and can only be regulated and guided through policies.

They can crush bitcoin and crypto in general in their own soil but not necessarily influence other countries to follow suit.
There is no singular belief around the globe, and there is no world government. Each country has different opinions and perspective with cryptos, and so cryptos is here to survive.

I do not think that the governments of the world can completely kill the crypto currency, but it can significantly weaken it.  I often wonder why  prohibit advertising ICO?  Perhaps this is the order "From above"?  Governments need to understand the prospects of the crypto currency, and they must figure out how to correctly introduce crypto-currencies into the life of their state.

"Regardless, just because South Korea, China, the US and other countries can crush Bitcoin by issuing new regulations and influencing cryptocurrency prices, it doesn’t mean they can kill it".  The above quote is from the research information I got when I was trying to find out why world government is fighting crypto. Please read the full text here: https://www.ccn.com/fighting-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-trading-threat-government-policies/ and make your own contributions. It will help cool the nerves from the crypto dip we are experiencing recently. Happy reading. Thanks
i dont think that world government can kill crypto, then can manipulate it but i dont think that they can kill it. why? because even those who called “government” are studying about crypto, they are also using it to earn big money thays why they are manipulating it.

Yes guy's I think the government can not kill cryptocurrencies.because cryptocurrencies is very usefull it has bring a lot of benifits to the people. And its help to improved our economy interms of investment and it gives a lots of opportunity to those un employed people. So I think the government also recognized cryptocurrencies as an asset and very usefull to all people.

I think no, bitcoin already exist in 2009 and if they really do want to end bitcoin, why not years ago? Crypto is now being well known all around the world and I think that it is already too late to stop it now. They can create a lot of bad news about cryptocurrecny so that the price will dip but not end it.

Governments cant kill drugs which have physical form for centuries.
So they won't be able to kill cryptos, but they sure can criminalize them. Stupid enough to be implemented by govts.

Yes, drugs exits until now there are many people still using it. Government cannot eliminate it but they can capture it. In terms of cryptos, government also   can't kill it, they are just making laws and regulations in our country that's why tax is there. I hope tax free in my country approve by the government. It is a big help to all consumers.

most of them are fake news, you should not believe that there is any country will kill or ban cryptocurrency completely. The government just delay to find the way to accept crypto. No one can deny that crypto is the future of currency

With the volatility and unstable state of bitcoin, I think it is really easy for the government to kill bitcoin. Look at it when even just one country start banning, the prices fell like rain, now imagine at least 5 countries banning the possession of bitcoin, say US, China, Russia, plus 2 others which have lots of investors, I dont think bitcoin will survive.

Can world Government Kill Crypto? No. definitely not. The government can complicate the existence of cryptocurrency, reduce the price of bitcoin, wipe it into powder. But it will not work, it will be replaced by another cryptocurrency, again and again. The only way to kill the crypto is to criminalize its use. Everywhere, all over the world. But it's impossible
The true nature of cryptocurrency only exists when that cryptocurrency has mining and "no founders". Why do I say "no founders"? Bitcoin became the 1st cryptocurrency not only because its value is higher than other cryptocurrency or the first cryptocurrency succeeded. Founders can still affect the future of cryptocurrency as long as founders still alive. Satoshi gave up Bitcoin because he want to make Bitcoin really freedom. Therefore, other type cryptocurrency like ICO token, no mining coin are the digital asset, these type coins can't call as cryptocurrency.

No way. If you do not live in North Korea, you will always have access to the Internet, and accordingly to cryptocurrencies.

I do not think that the world government can kill crypto. because even those who called the "government" are studying cryptography, they also use it to earn big money, they are used for their own purposes. Most likely, regulations will be introduced by legislation, and the system will change a little, but the market itself will live.

Of course, the government is difficult to track the crypto currency, the government needs data to attract taxes, if crypto does not pay taxes, it could be crypto banned

Hey. Who is government? Trump? No. It's pawns in the big game. I am sure that the world economy is being run by very different people. To be honest, I even think that they are aliens, immortal, powerful. They can make bitcoin, and they can kill it. = = ) Shocked Grin

I think the government can't kill crypto because it's an online money. It's a worldwide currency and the users are from different countries. They can't control or access all accounts. No one can stop this crypto.

Governments of many countries have taken over this market and wanted to control it and they did not succeed, and therefore in the future they will also help nothing.

I think it is impossibe for them to do that because there are too countries. And not all of them will do that. Even so we can find ways tio do the trading.

No, i don't think that the government can kill crypto because there are many users that support cryptocurrencies. Even if they decide to kill it many other countries have different beliefs about it. Others try to study it while others manipulate it. Sure that they can control the pace of cryptos but it will be hard for them to completely kill cryptocurreny.
