Not suprised but I am amazed on how their government accept the cryptocurrency, as I see in news, japanese stores also accept bitcoin as a payment!, I hope my country will do the same! But for now! I keep cheering on Japan and its way for cryptocurrency!

It's good to see Japan's authorities being very open minded when it comes to allowing Bitcoin to grow and extend its reach

For the crypto world i think it is a good news considering Japan as one of the top 3 countries that is a giant in terms of cryptocurrency. Japan is always an open-minded country when it comes to development. I do hope that they will continue their support to digital currency and other county will follow soon.

Its nice to see that Japan will also be part of crypto world and I think it is easy for Japan to go in the flow of bitcoin since it is developed country. Soon, cryptocurrency will be the tool for the payment all over the world.

not just a plan, but right now it's been realized Japan has issued a surprising statement, Japan recognizes bitcoin as the country's official currency and bitcoin is now a legitimate payment instrument in japan, in fact almost all big companies in japan pay their employees using bitcoin. and hopefully this positive trend will spread throughout the world

This is a good encouragement for BTC.Japan always excelled in Technology, other countries are thinking to regulate Cryptocurrencies like BTC.So future of BTC is bright, this step of Japan will also create flexibility in other countries for BTC.BTC would be used in payment method and with the passage of time if its successful then i am damn sure that other countries would also imitate Japan.

Don't forget MtGox was also located in Japan. The Japanese have loads more experience with exchanges, regulation and what might go wrong in cryptocurrency than any other country on earth.

Takashi Shiono, an economist at Credit Suisse in Tokyo, said: “There are estimates that tax revenue from the cryptocurrency business, including capital gains taxes from individual investors and from corporations, could amount to 1 trillion yen (US$9.2 billion), though that is very speculative at this stage.”
Now we are talking. Every normal head could understand that crypto is money for every government too, but that corrupted heads don't like changes. But they will smell money sooner or later, they just need to find the right way to control it.

I think the possibility of that happening is wonderful, because it would be the perfect sign that a developed economy like the Japanese can open the doors to the use of cryptocurrencies in a successful way, without a financial chaos of great magnitude as FUDsters want us make to believe in the West. Once the Japanese economic model manages to give an example of functional integration with cryptocurrencies, it will only be a matter of time before many more economies follow the example and open the doors to the massive adoption of cryptos.
