In my opinion, Japan deserves to be called the capital of the crypto-currency world. Japan has done a lot for the crypto currency and its promotion not only in its own country, but all over the world. Such a capital could be China, but recent developments in limiting the circulation of crypto currencies there have significantly discouraged this country from implementing the crypto currency.

Japan has always supported Bitcoin and other cryptos. It is said that Japan is one who is behind the development of this technology. So if Japan wants to be Bitcoin capital, there is nothing wrong or harful for us. I support Japan for being BTC capital of the world.

I always like Japanese technology, they are always reliable. If bitcoin is going to be developed more over there then expect big things to come out of it. Some type of fast payment method would be useful, or simplifying usage for the average Joe.

This is welcome news especially with china's crackdown on bitcoins , bitcoins does need a champion and so far it has been able to withstand numerous broadsides pretty much on its own but definitely it now needs a champion so im heartened by this announcement , as japan can now become the model from which other countries can construct and craft an economic model with bitcoins at its heart.

Since last year they became one of the biggest country that has endorsed and adopted bitcoin locally. And as of now bitcoin is still being used and supported by Japanese people. And there's a Japanese company that will pay it's workers with bitcoin. Japanese company will pay part of workers' salaries in Bitcoin

I do not think they plan to be the capital of the world for bitcoin. But I can believe they will allow more shops to accept its use more widely then they already do. There are many more places that can be the capital and a smaller more dense place would be more believable to accomplish this feat in the cryptoworld first.

that would be a very good news to us, the bitcoin loyalist. I hope many countries will do the same and accept bitcoin as a legal digital currency. No wonder why Japan is a successful countries because the leaders think about the welfare of the people.

That will be a great news and i will support it because it is right that they claim such title because of their great achievement and contributions for Bitcoin. Japan is the founder of Bitcoin thru Mr. Satoshi and Japanese people are proud people who believes of the importance of having a honor so therefore if they will become the Capital then we can be so sure that the Bitcoin is in good hands in the future.

They might have some competition when it comes to the news that germany has really been upping their trade on bitcoin and is able to integrate it faster if all things favor the Germans. But its good that germany and Japan are having a kind of friendly competition when it comes to bitcoin as there might be some major countries who are watching and taking notes and that way we would have a much more stable influence on bitcojn and anything else

it is very likely to happen, because basically bitcoin also comes from that country. and up to now most bitcoin users are also in that country. so it is not impossible if the plan can indeed be realized

Germany is now only making noise towards cryptocurrency and a competitor is always good for each nations to prove their excellence and excel in other countries.

Unlike neighboring countries such as China and South Korea, which fight crypto-currencies, Japan is still determined to become the first country in the world to promote cryptocurrencies as legal tender despite the risks. However, the current cryptocurrency business is very speculative. However, the revenue from this business, including the capital gains tax levied on individual investors and enterprises, may reach 1 trillion yen (about 9.2 billion U.S. dollars). Tokyo hopes to take advantage of people's interest in cryptocurrencies to improve the economy.

The government too has understood the things in a much better way unlike the other governments that has been imposing ban upon bitcoin. Already it has been serving to be the central hub for Cryptocurrency due to the legalized acceptance even when China holds majority of the contributors.

That's a great news and I am expecting other countries to have the broad approach towards Bitcoin/crypto while taking any legal decision. Bitcoin follows the principle of democracy in a real manner by providing the power and control to its users. If I am not wrong then I think Australia is the first country to introduce crypto to the primary students in their academic curriculum.
