Regulations can affect positive and negative side. But for me regulations is good thing to do here in crypto currency. It can help us prevent from bad and scammers here. Regulations can also make this community clean and order. We will be more desciplined if regulations be implemented. But too much regulation also can make this community crowded and chaos

Right. The reason why goverments like china, korea and india are wary about cryptocurrencies is that it poses too many risks both for investors and the country. Having regulations would really be healthy for crypto and i think we can come up with good ones that won't really compromise what draws people to it.

yes we need regulations because there is uncertainty going around, remember the case of china? many ICO there that happened before are just complete scam and fraud that's why they ban trading of cryptocurrency there, i don't know what's happening right now or how people can trade there but i'm pretty sure these regulations are made to protect us from those scammers.
I do not think that it is the only reason why they need to make regulations on it. Behind those things there is still many reason why they regulate their people about bitcoin. If they really want to protect us from the scammers, they should take part into bitcoin and take care of this scammers, not just banned it from their country Nowadays many regulations that have been made in order just to fullfil ehat government wants, they want to take something that can really benefits them, this is what I know

We definitely need regulations regarding exchanges. If it's just not fair for investors to lose their money for hackers that are not hackers and always have a doubt about if your funds are safe or not just image Wall Street under those conditions

I'm one of those who supports Bitcoin regulation. To my opinion that doesn't mean centralization but clearly set rules about cryptocurrencies, what is legal and what isn't. That could influence biger acceptance rate, especialy among businesses because they would feel safer and more protected. It would also mean more safety and clear rules for users. That could only help Bitcoin to grow it will not harm it.

Even there is regulation I don't think that it will stop scammers do their thing, they will only get more smarter than before to be able to continue what they're doing. Security really depends upon the user, you just need to be extra careful in everything especially when it involves your own money in order not to lose it.

How do you guys think? Do we need regulations in the crypto world? Should only ICO be regulated or legit coins (not "security tokens") too? Can we implement regulations mechanisms in code so that corrupted governmental institutions couldn't manipulate the industry? Can we still have free market with governments' regulations across the world?
Please, share your thoughts. I'm a bit confused about what's happening right now.
Because the block chain operates in a very complicated manner, it's very hard to mixed regulations on a platform that fully offers decentralization. There are so many block chains based platforms that are being created and continue to rise, decentralized video, email, messenger, banks. A platform that will focus on political system will come (inform me if there is already an existing one) the problem is how the government will adopt this platform if they will know that they won't be able to control the money and corrupt their country anymore.

In my opinion, I think we need regulations in a way that will help the users in having transactions, in order to avoid delays and problems, most probably scammers. The fraud coins and people should be banned in this community. But we all know that the implementation of these regulations will be very difficult because crypto offers decentralized system and most people are getting used to this kind of environment. However, we want a safer community and secured income so it's essential.

yes, we do need regulation and regulation is coming. That you can be assured of. There is too many scams at the moment and a lot of people losing their money, you need to regulate this space in order to drive it forward in a professional way.

Of course we need regulations, even if it seems irritating. Anything in society need to be ruled, otherwise there will be chaos. Ah, don't forget: bitcoin is ALREADY regulated by a software....

If we want cryptos to keep being "tolerated" by the states we might need one. Regulation is neither bad or good, its a tool. It depends on who is writing them... that's where I say NO we dont need regulations . Just the plain truth. Sometimes, there are just some things that need to be in play just to at least save the day and let peace just keep on. Government will never shut up unless they start seeing some benefits and once they start seeing, we all know how the game is played. Cryptocurrencies, at least for those ones that are, still remain decentralized and nothing has changed that. We have not even gotten to the stage yet where we can really use without converting to fiat, so regulation is one thing we cannot even hide away from.

Rules bind every people in community to live in harmony and peace, the same with crypto we need regulations to function properly and orderly, it may include also punishment for those who violate and reward for those who help to improve the forum.

Well, we already have a regulation, and it's the software of the blockchain. Bitcoin was created exactly with the aim to have a world without rules imposed by financial powers. So, we need to find a way to contrast these tries.

We don't need it, but the government does it. But even though government regulates Bitcoin heavily, we have a choice to follow the law or not because the nature of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies is decentralized, so indirectly we helped because of it.
Government have such legacy to impose the rules and regulations we can only follow them, rather making the regulations. Yes this is the dire need of time for the governments to take such impulsive step in managing this currency in their vicinity of country boundary but legislating a rule book regarding bitcoins. How they should be traded or invested or ruled within the boundaries of a country.

I don't think so, regulations is not an only way to eliminate those scammers and false project. Thus, government regulations may imposed for the seek that they can generate money not the way to stop scammers. But still good to the community in a certain thing that it could help to minimize criminal activities using crypto.

I think that regulations are needed as well. First of all I think that crypto currencies still have stigma of being used by criminals. With regulations that could be changed. I'm sure the public image would enhance when it is shown that crypto currencies are not a field without laws. And when I think about ICOs those should really have strict rules. At the moment it is way too easy to set one of those up and disappear with the money.

Regulations are good because there will be no abusive people that will use bitcoin because they know that there is a regulation that they need to be afraid of and that can reduce the crimes that is involved in bitcoin and be just a good currency like others and potentially be one of the best growing type of currency because of the regulation because it will make people, feels safe.

A regulation of the Cryptocurrency market is very important. It will really help to cut out some excess! I do not see to ICOs cropping up every now and then from everywhere. If there is a regulatory body assigned with this responsibility, the issue of scam ICOs will be reduced and finally checked!
