Regulations are always the "sisterhood" of any implemented games and or company or institution and as well as provisions. It is like money, that one cannot run without the presence of regulations. Without it anyone can be disrespectful and follow no rules abide to each institution. Hope this helps

Eventually this too will get regulated. Like everything else that involves money, regulations will come. It just harder and slower due to the nature of the Crypto blockchain technology.

It is important to have regulations in place so that things are streamlined. A very basic example in our daily life which we can relate is just imagine on roads their was no signals or no direction lane to go and to come so everywhere their would have being a chaos and nobody could reach where they want to. So this regulations helps everyone including the citizens to the country. It could be related to crypto or any other thing which and wherever it is necessary.

How do you guys think? Do we need regulations in the crypto world? Should only ICO be regulated or legit coins (not "security tokens") too? Can we implement regulations mechanisms in code so that corrupted governmental institutions couldn't manipulate the industry? Can we still have free market with governments' regulations across the world?

Please, share your thoughts. I'm a bit confused about what's happening right now.
Actually yes because you need to follow the rules and regulation about bitcoin they have a policies of this oppurtunity to follow and we need to regulate the accross the world

We have the laws and that is the reason why we need regulation because we don't want to disobey the laws and the laws are the guidelines in order to have a very stable country and a good maintained and well organized country, without the regulation we will just have a chaotic country with a lot of bad people.

Why is it difficult to follow the policy?there are some but they do not follow. One if the things we have difficulty in obeying is the law and policy. sometimes we think pf suggestion  not remedy if not suggestions or suggestions only.when in fact,it is made to unity and discipline and also to have a good life too.well if we follow it,it will prevent the fight and the trouble, but why is it difficult to others to comply with the policy? It is sad to think that many people do not comply with the laws, but those who are in power are the ones who abuse and do not comply with the law they set out.we just need to accept the rules that applies to all,no exemption.

yes that is of course, because otherwise there are rules many swindlers are hanging out there. We need a lot of rules that we can get, in order to avoid strange things and prevent the increasing number of victims and swindlers here in the crypto era.

Yes, it is highly recommended to have a regulation in the crypto world. It is recommended to protect the interest of the members/investors. This would help also to lower fraud incidents and protect the crypto's credibility and the market. A general rule should be impose to have equality to all involved in the crypto world. Likewise, a regulation ideally minimize corruption in an institution. Since crypto world deals with investment, then it is a must to minimize conflict of interest. Similar with the a company's regulations that all the employees should follow what is indicated in the rules of the company regardless of the position.

Of course. all of our doings should be considered and should be accepted to our norms and standards in society here in bitcoim forum. So we have to follow the rulings here in this forum as to please the members here and respect their thoughts and opinions. If not then this forum could be so cruel that other members migh be attack with some.hurtful words to be used. So as to keep our pace in peace and harmony we have to obey these set of rules and regulations. That is also to attract more investors in this forum and that is bitcoin all about by encouraging all the members to inveat in bitcoin.

Regulation means there is an intervention by government of whatever transaction you made in the blockchain. Whether you like it or not, you have to pay tax then. But it is good to help prevent people from scamming, IMO. ICOs should also pass certain requirements before they can start their ICO and in that way, investors are protected. But for those small time investors, i think regulation is not on their side. Smiley

There is need for digital or decentralized regulation to avoid unruly
practices in the community.I guess the distributed ledger platform
can help regulate the system crypto currency clime as to maintain
required standards, eliminate scammers and those with fraudulent
intentions, nay-Sayers, et al without which such experiences as mentioned
is absolutely unavoidable.

Why do you think we need regulations to make bitcoin legal? Regulating bitcoin means making it more centralized and the government having power over it. This is not what crypto currencies were made for. The more the regulations, the more you will be losing the freedom of your own money. Government control, bank, taxes, regulation etc. - none of them goes with bitcoin.

Cryptocurrencies have firmly entered our life and now nothing can change with simple prohibitions. The state will have to regulate this new industry and try to generate revenue from it. Therefore, it is precisely the correct regulation of the cryptomarket that will become the basis for the growth of the price of not only Bitcoin, but also other alternative coins.

At some point, yes we need regulations for cryptocurrency. We've seen enough of those people abusing the use of it and it's imperative that regulations be formed. I don't know how and who shall implement this but the process will surely be quite a mess imo.

Free market? Say hello to the government and bid your market freedom goodbye. With all the money that cryptocurrency brought about, do you think government will not try to turn the wheels? There might be some differences on how a government in different countries will implement their crypto regulations but they have one common denominator: TAXES.

We have to pay taxes one way or the other or just risk sanctions or jail. At least we would be paying to have a certain level of legal protection against scams.

I think we need a regulation because they are many hackers and scammers here. So we need to kick them out, they can't get a victim that has no knowledge on this forum.
