Currently, I see a lot of fraudulent projects. If the rules governing the ICO process are strictly regulated, then this is great. But to control this problem is not straightforward.

How do you guys think? Do we need regulations in the crypto world? Should only ICO be regulated or legit coins (not "security tokens") too? Can we implement regulations mechanisms in code so that corrupted governmental institutions couldn't manipulate the industry? Can we still have free market with governments' regulations across the world?

Please, share your thoughts. I'm a bit confused about what's happening right now.
For some instances maybe we need regulations to be followed because some of bitcoin users didnt know the rules and regulations . For me it will improve the bitcoin system if we implement rules and regulations that everyone should follow.

Regulated system is badly needed in every transaction. Have standard to follow to ease the flow of the business.

Yes because if we have rules and regulation bitcoin will improve its security against scams and crptos . If bitcoin will apply some of rules and reulation that every one follows bitcoin will be safest to be place to invest your money.

Regulations will ensure the safety of every bitcoin and altcoins holders in the world, it will ensure that our hard owned bitcoin will not be expose to scam and some fraud investments, it will ensure that bitcoin will not be use in illegal activities in which it might put people at risk. So therefore only illegal people wont need the regulation.

I totally agree with this sir.And I think it is a very good idea to put regulations here in crypto world. But I'm just a little bit confused if this will be implemented because all we know that all cryptocurrencies are anonymous. So who will make the regulations and how can we know that it will changed everything? But if ever it will be implemented,I guess this will be very interesting and promising investments in the internet.

Surely. We need a regulation. But it must be proportionate to the commitment that the bitcoiner gives to it. Trying to give taxes to those who earn is OK .... but it is useful to try to reward those who have studied for it

I do believe that regulations are necessary in order to organize better in a highly professional manner all matters related to bitcoin. This will protect the whole process but not to extent that the government will control and manipulate it. Rules are to be implemented in a positive way to enhance bitcoin market even better.
Yes because Government agencies are responsible for implementing and regulating policies. Such regulations are in place to ensure that the markets run effectively. They also aim to protect consumers through safety regulations.

Of course When citizens abandon morals, ethics, integrity, as they are now.. We would have much more chaos and destruction, if there weren't Rules and Regulations.

I think it is good to have an regulation in the ICO. Because the investors will have a protection. And many tokens will likely be classified as securities in some jurisdictions. This makes mandatory disclosure requirements applicable to token offerings. Mandatory disclosure gives investors more information to try to rationally base their decisions on.
Yes because Government is widely distrusted, no doubt. But the fact remains that when it’s run right, it’s absolutely necessary.

Yes Some days, I wonder if we could do it again. ... And we need a competent federal government—to ensure that our food is safe, our airplanes don't fly into each other,

I don't think that we need regulation because the core concept of Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies is to provide a decentralized platform for its users to use it as a payment system. Thus the basic expectation is that there should be no ruling/controlling authority.

On the other hand, I believe that we should take collective efforts in order to build awareness among people. That is the only concrete way to stop or reduce the number of scammers scamming on a huge scale. Regulation is not the answer, there must be something from the community of users.

Every now and then we need always a regulations in order to have a proper process or anything else because regulation intends to regulate what people are allowed to do, and I think that in crypto world we need a regulation to have a clearer transactions for all.

I don´t think you are right, regulations are not as important as self moderation in the current market, and that is where we should go as today. IMO.

This is an irreversible process that cannot be avoided. But for me, it would be better if the state were to regulate other areas, such as pensions or health care.

Of course, we need the regulations. And we need a competent federal government—to ensure that our food is safe, our airplanes don’t fly into each other, and our banks protect our savings, to name a few roles.

I think ICO is really be needed to be regulated, there are too many scams. Investment in ICO for new people on the market becomes lottery without responsibility from devs, your first ICO will be the last one after losing your funds.
