I'm pretty sure Mr. Wang has been around casino-investor since forever, he's just a recently converted degen. I also beat him in rock-paper-scissors for 5 BTC, but chickened out of his rematch offer of 25 BTC  Shocked

I love seeing the RPS matches in chat!
But a 5BTC RPS Match, or the 25BTC Rematch Offer .... my god! Grin

Was that on chat on bustabit? Looks like i'm not aware of it. This Mr. Wang user really do a whale since way then before, well it's no surprise to see him betting that on a chat game.

Dude is over 340 bitcoins right now, that is not just a degen, that is literally going insane right now. You guys realize that we are talking about 5 million dollars give or take right? This dude made over 5 million dollars from gambling give or take just very recently, and he is still going on as well.

Maybe he is quite the rich person and he doesn't need the money, I don't know him but I could tell easily that nobody who can even afford this would do something this risky with something as high as 5 million dollars, and not like he will lose it all that quickly (or maybe he will) but if he does, he could lose even more while trying to recover as well. Normal people invest that kind of money into stocks, real estate, gold and even we crazy ones do it on crypto, but to risk 5 million on gambling? Dude has some screws loose Cheesy.

I guess he is gambling with just a little percentage of his total bankroll ( meaning with it all BTC in his possession not only the ones on BaB) : cannot think someone having those amount at their disposal is a naive person.
A fool and his money are soon parted and am quite sure it's not the case.

BIG F Roll Eyes I kinda had a feeling this would happen soon. Today before he showed up, the chat was talking how his luck is going to run out soon and he will RIP everything and that's exactly what happened few hours ago  Undecided I only hope that he's fine after this huge loss and will move forward.

Notable rounds from WangTang_V2 today for the curious:

https://www.bustabit.com/bet/760040972 (300 BTC loss)

https://www.bustabit.com/bet/760029100 (200 BTC loss)

https://www.bustabit.com/bet/760036564 (69.3 BTC win on 1.7x multiplier)

https://www.bustabit.com/bet/760043752 (119 BTC loss)

https://www.bustabit.com/bet/760048491 (71.2 BTC win on 1.72x multiplier)

Crazy how we've gotten to the point where his individual 100 BTC bets aren't that noteworthy anymore; they're just another bet for WangTang_V2.

A little update about this degen, when i tried to check his acocunt, it shown like this

WangTangV2 has deleted his bustabit account, so we can't see any history of his account again, although we still can see his username on leaderboard (- BTC297). Hope to see this degen again in near future (maybe on another account).

Anyway, Bustabit's bankroll is decreased to BTC6930 (it was around BTC7100) even though WangTangV2 has lose huge amount of bitcoins, so i assume there were some whales whom divested their investment and sold their bitcoins while the price still around $15k

How come? Why you said Ryan has withdrew his investment from bustabit?
Even if he withdrew his investment from bustabit, it has nothing to do with ethercrash story.
Seeing your trust score, you have been attacking bustabit since 2019 huh?

I actually did just recently divest (and withdraw) some of my investment (but not all).  I guess it wasn't too hard to infer from me being online when the divestment happened. Anyway,  there's absolutely nothing to do with ethercrash (I quite literally don't even have an account there). I mainly just divested to lower my exposure (esp. with bitcoin being worth so much lately) and with Mr. Wang having deleted his account, seemed like a good time to not worry about missing out on a lot of action. *shrug*

What was he thinking to start with? I mean I get that he won a lot and that is why he may have felt like he is on the right path to make a lot of money, but to start off with dude already had a lot of money, so he never felt like he "needed" more, he could have stopped and never work a single day in his life and still retire early, so why push things this further? Now his account is gone, he probably stopped after losing so much money, I can't check at where he ended up with at last but we can safely assume that the last known point was him losing a ton of money.

When you are gambling, even if you end up winning a lot of money, because of the house edge you are going to end up losing if you keep going, there is no mathematical scenario where if you keep gambling forever, you keep winning forever, you either gamble and win and leave or you gamble long enough to lose all your money those are two options.

ya.ya.yo!

He has 27000BTC wagered, and lost 267.9BTC. Since bustabit has a 1% house edge, it makes sense that he ended up losing 1% of what he wagered. Technically he has slightly above 100% luck since he still beat EV by 2.1BTC (not that it really matters considering the large about of BTC he lost).

I dont think there is a Marketing Department, that explains why there is no marketing being done.

Back to WangTang... WOW.
Looking at those bets that GamblingSiteFinder posted... What was the guy thinking?

Its "funny" to see when Whales lose, they just delete the account...
Is it self protection to stop them from depositing/losing more? Or are they ashamed of having that hug red graph?

I don't think so, even if he losses such amount I think he's still awesome. Betting such a big amount is no joke so nothing is to be ashamed of.
Maybe trying to hide his account and re-register with something new and bet again.

These bets in USD$ amounts are massive for anybody to win or to lose and what compounds the losses are the fact that they did not stop the user and they continued to bet just as they have been doing a long time. The lowest one in the list you compiled shows a 71.2 BTC loss and the largest one at 300 BTC, these are phenomenal losses and the mid really does boggle at those statistics.

Notable rounds from WangTang_V2 today for the curious:

https://www.bustabit.com/bet/760040972 (300 BTC loss)

https://www.bustabit.com/bet/760029100 (200 BTC loss)

https://www.bustabit.com/bet/760036564 (69.3 BTC win on 1.7x multiplier)

https://www.bustabit.com/bet/760043752 (119 BTC loss)

https://www.bustabit.com/bet/760048491 (71.2 BTC win on 1.72x multiplier)

Crazy how we've gotten to the point where his individual 100 BTC bets aren't that noteworthy anymore; they're just another bet for WangTang_V2.
