I am curious about how a deal of this magnitude took place?

How does one person in one country buy a highly lucrative and successful website from another person in a different country using Bitcoin? (assuming that was the payment method and assuming no face-to-face meeting to place).

I do not know if the terms of the sale were ever made public but either way without stating the figures involved, how does a sale like this go ahead?

It is hard to imagine an escrow of sorts taking place with Bitcoin going one way in exchange for server login details or domain ownership + database + files going the other way in zip format.

Did lawyers get involved to ensure the deal went through properly on a legal basis or was it more of an agreement between gentlemen who share a high degree of respect for one another? I assume it is the latter but can someone clarify?
I do wonder about this time to time as well, this was one of the biggest places (still one of the biggest) and it was sold, that's a big deal, and devans wasn't like this whole huge corporation that had hundreds of workers and staff and took over to make it more "professional" or something like that, he took it and basically kept it going himself and it worked out perfectly.

I remember when satoshidice was sold, it was a huuuuge amount and it was in bitcoin and owner basically made more money than I could even dream, but the ones that took over tried to make it more professional and they failed and it ended up not being worth anything in the end. This is why I think what devans did was a big deal, it is not simple to take over a casino and continue to keep it a great place after a transition like this. Would love to hear more about that process.

It is public info that Ryan and Daniel have known each other for several years. Don't think trust was an issue, especially if they knew each other in person, and especially considering that Ryan has enough BTC to not scam for that little.

I like gambling. Probably currently trying to figure out how to pay next month's rent.

Ryan and I have known each other for a long time, so the entire process was rather unceremonious. After agreeing on the terms we chose a time and a date for the handover and that was that 🤷‍♂️

Ryan was the seller I believe, Devans was the buyer. Which means if Ryan had enough BTC, that doesn't mean Devans wouldn't scam, because it was Devans that bought it. But we all know Devans had the money as well since he bought it, and everything worked perfectly, there is really nothing that went wrong, everything went smoothly, we know that now.

The question is, what happened during that period, how it was done, how much was paid, and seriously, how the hell did Devans took over a place and kept it is cool for this long. MAANY projects end up dying after a while, and the ones that doesn't die end up renovating it as a whole to keep staying relevant or they just die down and be gone. Bustabit reaching to a perfect level and then staying there without ever really having any down is a marvelous thing, I am even sure that in dollar worth it is much bigger now (because btc went up) so it is really a huge achievement. I could literally ready a book about before the transition, during transition and everything after.

That is a nice way of replying to a post without giving away any details so nobody knows more after reading your post than they did when I asked the questions  Grin

Seems you will not get any answer from Daniel for that. The one who muted you must be one of their moderators. Daniel seems don't know about it. Sorry for hear that you got blocked, but all you can do only write to their support.

This is not kind to tell me i need to wait 14 days + he aint sure if he will tell me the Email adress after 14 days
He is doing this because he saw that there are 600 euro on it

Is this going to be accepted just like that ?
Is he allowed to "scam" me

even if i have every proof he could ask for ?
but he aint even asked

Can some Bitcointalk Moderation help me even ban him from here if he is going to act the way he tried to do yesterday with me

He probably didnt expected making it public on Bitcointalk hope he does change his Decision now of trying to scam me and just tell me the FUCKING EMAIL i entere

Bustabit safes the IP
I can tell him even the IP adress i used yesterday to create the acc where i forgot my email

Proos i can show :

-Username & Password
-Transaction Id
-Wallet of Bustabit where i send the Coins to
-My wallet where the coins came from
-(i can make a Video how i login into my wallet & show the Transaction to Bustabit)
-Ip adress which i used to create the Bustabit acc

But daniel aint even trying to solve my mistake that i forgot to write down the email adress i entered

Here is the Email chat with Daniel so far :

Daniel will surely have given you a reason why he will only give you the mail address after 14 days, right? Without knowing the exact reason, I assume he wants to prevent users from being scammed (you could claim that the account XYZ belongs to you and you would like to have the mail address).

I would in your place just wait the 14 days, Daniel definitely does not intend to cheat you but simply wants to protect his user base.

Edit:
I take the security of our users' accounts very seriously, so I need to be very thorough with requests to (re)gain access to accounts. I will contact you with my decision via email after a mandatory waiting period of fourteen days.

I checked both Bustabit and Bustadice, one has around 2188 BTC and the other has around 2200 BTC in bankrolls. If memory serves correct both websites had around 10,000 BTC bankroll each last year.

Why such large divestment in such a short space of time?

Wow,

Looks like someone (or a group of folks) bit the bullet and divested from the bankroll. We are down to 2965 BTC invested. Could also be people taking profits given the current jump in price of BTC or maybe someone decided its time to buy that island they always wanted to retire to. Wink

An approximate 4388 BTC bankroll x c.$35,000 each is way above $153 million invested thus far.

Because returns are shit now. I'm surprised bankrolls are still so big.

Can someone please help me HuhHuh
I told him just to send the 600 euro back to the wallet where it came from but now he does not answer anymore

Which reason he told me ? i posted above the chat with him there is no Other message where he told me his decision

And dude dont you understand ?
I can proof everything !
Are you saying im going to scam myself WTFFFF HuhHuhHuhHuh?

Im going to tell it again just to be clear

Proos i can show :

-Bustabit Username & Password
-Transaction Id to Bustabit wallet
-receiving Wallet of Bustabit where my coins went to
-My wallet where the coins came from
-(i can make a Video how i login into my wallet & show the Transaction to Bustabit)
-Ip adress which i used to create the Bustabit acc

IF THATS NOT ENOUGH THEN WOOWWWWW
Then other question if he aint tell me the Email
why does he not send the Bitcoin back to the Wallet where it came from ??

Just once more since you seemed to be a bit lost

I CAN MAKE A VIDEO OF THE WALLET FROM WHERE I SEND THE COINS TO BUSTABIT
CAN SEND EVEN ONE EURO TO RND WALLET WHAT EVER !!

On my wallet are few Thousands euro
and its not my First transaction to Bustabit i can proof even old accs which i used !

SO even after all this Proofs he is allowed to let me wait 14 days and tell me he aint sure if he is going to tell me the email Huh

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I take the security of our users' accounts very seriously, so I need to be very thorough with requests to (re)gain access to accounts. I will contact you with my decision via email after a mandatory waiting period of fourteen days.

An approximate 4388 BTC bankroll x c.$35,000 each is way above $153 million invested thus far.
Is that bankroll the total of both bustabit and bustadice? Or is it only for the bustabit? Because for me, that's a lot of money for one site to have especially with only few games. Pretty neat that they are this successful, I hope that they open their signature campaigns again in the forum.

The waiting period may seem like a hassle, but it protects users' accounts in the case of their password being compromised and for that reason cannot be skipped or shortened. It is mandatory when someone wants to access an account without being able to fully authenticate themselves as its owner such as in your case.

If you happen to remember your email address in the meantime you can access your account normally by clicking the authorization link sent to it. Otherwise, please sit tight until the waiting period passes and I contact you via email.

Should you have questions please respond in our existing email thread as I do not provide account support via the forum.

Bustabit and the rest of it associate such as butadice have a long year of running gambling sites that have lots of bankrolls because of their long time of success in gambling platforms. I guess the displayed bankroll is only for bustabit as every one of its other sites has its bankroll. It
