Well, I didn't sell my bitcoins or altcoins for the money. In the past year, I brought some bitcoin when the price is low. Ever since and I keep exchange differenct type of altcoin with bitcoin in order to get a slightly growth on my portfolio. It was quite smooth at first, however when the price on bitcoin suddenly dropped in the early 2018, I stopped the trading as the price has dropped nearly 2/3. Until now, I still hold all the altcoin and waiting for recovery.

it is unwise to sell bounty tokens immediately. it is not mature, when it is just on the market. However, as the project progressed, its token price also rose. We need some patience. Waiting is worth it.

most of the people want that their investment get multiply over many times in ver less time . but when that doesnt happen they try to sell it without even trying to know that what is the project how it will work in future. because today is bearish market and after few month time many altcoin will give you good return. so hold and sell carefylly

I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Now that one really has me confused. To me it's way to early to be selling your altcoins. It's like selling an original painting before it even gains in value or while it is still gaining in value. What smart investor does that unless they are selling out of fear or because they are desperate. For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?
So tell me, why are you selling your altscoins so soon?
I need to explain again, the purpose, needs, circumstances of each person's money are different. and it is clear not only because they do not believe in the ICO / ITO / Pre-Sale Project but because of urgent needs and need to be fulfilled. |

I personally don't sell my altcoins in order to buy BTC. Maybe to someone it's important to become closer and closer to having some BTCs but to me the most significant thing is the variety of coins in my portfolio.

I think many people do not have patience. The crypto market is something of patience business. The more patience you hold the more gain you collect. The increasing trend is investors panic sell their altcoins when the market goes down.

People no longer in the whitepaper anymore. Its of opinion that the usecases lettered in Whitepapers are just paper work with little or no practical justification. Hence, they have lost faith

I think that Bitcoin will be at least another 5 years the main coin, so investing in Bitcoin is always a good idea. Altcoins are more volatile and they are influenced by Bitcoin, but you can earn more on altcoins.

It is because they are scared of the market price. They are thinking anything can happen. That is the more reason we call them panic seller. Nothing is not gonna happen to ethereum. The market will soon bounce back.

the first thing is the reason I sell altcoin quickly because I follow trading, if I silence long enough to worry that prices will go down and can cause losses, if we sell when prices rise even a little the most important thing is to get profit first

I sell my altcoins immediately because for me the ICO is not so successful and it is better to sell immediately because for sure the value or the price will get dump sooner or later. But if the ICO is so successful i will not sell my coins immediately because i will wait for the big pump. |

I totally agree! The more coins present in the investment portfolio, the more likely that some of the coins will go to the moon. |

well, everyone has their own strategy of earning ) I do sell sometimes in the negative , because they see other promising coins , but again almost always keep to long

Well, it shouldn't be a surprise that people want to invest more and more on bitcoin than on altcoins, after all, bitcoin is more suited for long term so it allows you to chill more and wait for the profits for a couple of years.

People sell their altcoyins because in a month they can cost even cheaper several times. Because some people sell them in the hope of buying later cheaper .

Most of the people are afraid because of the last crash wherein the prices of crypto falls. They tend to sell their coins because of panic. |
