Personally, I do not sell. I believe that the altcoins is the future. Many people sell because of panic, as the market goes down, many simply change them to bitcoin, because they believe that can earn more on it

Selling now depends on what you think and personal decision. With the way duplicate project comes up it makes the old one to be in serious competition and takes ally of effort to keep up.

Maybe the reason why people sell their altcoin is because they see that bitcoin is affordable to buy now because of bear market. And I think selling altcoin to buy other coin is not bad as long you know that it will give to you a great profit.

Most of the time I agree with you that you should never sell for a loss but sometimes selling might be a good choice if you find a great opportunity with another coin that might make you way more profit than if you had kept the other coin

It cannever be understood the reason as to why people tend to sell their conis early, it all depends on individuals, nd probably the quality of the coins they are holding,some just need the money and are forced into selling while others are just habitual coin dumpers,

Not all people are like you and think like you. What do you mean by early? What is the right time to sell coins one has been holding? In general people sell their coins when they think that prices of the coins they have are declining rapidly. But I agree with you at a point that crypto is volatile and its prices go up and down any time. I also think that holding for a bit longer might be a good idea.

I think because not all altcoins will have the same potential to rise even higher. so it's rational enough to sell all altcoins and then buy bitcoin or etherum.

Most of people thought BTC could 'reach the moon' by its price  and all of them purchased it. For me, I do not sell anything  at all after the raising of BTC and Altscoins gonna go up.
