Nobody will know where crypto will go. We can only guess. Personally, I think crypto will be the future of our financial system so no, I don't believe it will go to zero.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Most likely. There are way too much coins and most of them are already close to nothing. Once authorities will treat them as commodities, it will be over and out. Governments are keen to put an end to the scams, so it will be harder to come up with scam ICO's.

As quoted from CNBC there is a cryptocurrency will be zero.

What do you think ?

From :

I agree to the news, other cryptocurrencies will really crash if there are always new ico that will keep on existing with better platform and people will turn their attention on that specific coin. The best way for an altcoin to be successful is really a good platform to have.

I do not think so. Crypto currency, in particular bitcoin, is a very expensive asset, on equal terms with gold. So now the price is very large. And when the stocks run out then the price will rise very much. Therefore, I see no reason to drop the Crypto-currency

Last one year the market cap doubled and the quantity of the crypto currencies increased more than that. Currently roughly 1600 crypto currencies in the market, in my opinion it is too much by time most of them should die.

The world is full of surprises, good ones and bad ones. Sadly, in the cryptocurreny world, nothing is certain. If investors decide one day to abondon bitcoin and their investments in it. That will cause its value to decrease. Then , all its user will want to cash it before it falls down more. This will surely crash it more to zero. Hopefully , this will never happen.

There is no way it will fall to zero unless people stopped using computers and started to live off the land again. It would take a major catastrophe for that to happen like an asteroid that took out the dinosaurs. Even if it drops a lot, there will always be someone who believes that it will rise again and continue to buy and trade bitcoin

One can not say with full confidence that most crypto currencies will collapse to zero, as today more and more teams that create new crypto-currencies take on the staff of professionals who make a good idea a successful project.

That's right. Many have claimed that this would happen over the past several years and months, and up to now, even if some market assets have really died out, many are still left, with some new comer coins adding to the market every day. With that being said, I think that the market is continuously evolving and is adding up more assets that would help it prosper, so saying that many cryptocurrencies would go to zero has a reality to it, but only for those that doesn't have a chance of prospering in the market.

Goldman Sach might be planning something so he said that crypto's can likely to become zero. After this, news came out that he backed up Circle that bought Poloniex so this is something that is quite unusual. For an investor to say that crypto's will crash to zero while him, investing to start ups?

I would not listen to anything goldman sachs says about crypto as they have been constantly throwing dirt on anything that has to do with bitcoin or any other crypto. Other than being very ignorant on the matter.

Most tokens have no value.
More and more new ICO projects look more like a scam, so it's perfectly normal for these tokens to return to 0, and I have no idea how these tokens are related to the blockchain.
Ya. You are right. I even hold tokens for alsmost a year now that dont even have exchanges so how would i call these tokens, zero. No value. Sadly ICOs are growing more and more each day and you wouldnt even know which one is true and which one is fake.

That's just impossible knowing that cryptos are having demand in the market which gives the increase on its market value. Crashes are hundred percent normal but tfor the market value of MOST cryptos to fall as low as zero? That's absurd! Probably at the end of this year, good things will be to Bitcoin. It is jist that we should only wait and be patient. Invest for now and hold to earn huge profit in the future.

I still have a strong belief in the good altcoin on the market as its management team is day by day building on the true value of their coin. Do not be too pessimistic about the future of coin when you are investing in this market. I believe that the market will develop very well in the future and the altcoin really potential will flourish.
Well, as you know you and me both take part in bitcoin market ,atually when you decide to enter this job, you definitely know how risky this job brings to you but I think people who use bitcoin always complain about bitcoin value when it falls down. We all know that bitcoin or cryptocurrency is notoriously volatile, it’s value is really not stable , there have much time the value does get decreased, increased and the like, it fluctuates currently. But when bitcoin has a significant decreased, I do think that it’s normal ,many say that it will crash to zero. Yep, bitcoin is extremely popular ,even it’s getting more viral. It’s created by computer technology, therefore I believe that it will exist for a long term and always flucuate. We’d better keep our head , bitcoin value will recover again.

Most currencies will never go to zero. Why? Because many people can't resist a bargain. If for example litecoin fell to $10, how many people would buy some in the hope it went back to $200+? LOTS!

Case it point - look at Bitconnect. A known scam. Currently trading at $2.04. That's a big fall from $400+ it once was - granted. But the current price results in a market cap of $19 mil. I'd suggest this is purely speculators thinking the coin might be revived / come back.

That's a little bit harsh and presumptuous. The market may be taking a bashing does not mean they'll come to zero. To come to zero, all the holders must release their coin at the same time to crash the price. As simple as A B C.

I think there are several reasons:
1. Quantum computers will make miners lose their jobs because quantum computers have tremendous cryptocurrency exploits.
2. The crypto will not be supported by dev, they will fail and lose value.
3. These SCAM ICOs will make investors withdraw money from cryptocurrency because they think the risk is too great.
4. Bump, dump games will ruin the market.
1, miner is the game for reach people who has long-free money to invest, so they would never die when quantum computer come out. and even more, quantum computer still so far away till the day it can beat miners's computer
2+3, good investor will never die anyway. they always have safe money that can guarantee even they lose all others, they would still healthy alive. and some crypto currentcy with strong dev alive
4, pump and dump game is just temporally. no one control market whole the time
Your explanations seem reasonable but we need to think about the long term. I have seen a lot of cryptocurrency on coinmarketcap.com and found that there is a lot of junk. The quantum computer I think will be born soon. I have read some articles about it. The market will continue to grow in 2018. Currently, only momentum for growth.

This is not true at all. There are always new investors and the old investors aren't leaving either. A couple of years ago, ETH was $10 now it's worth over $500. Numbers like these will never let the market crash and go to zero

It is highly probable that most of cryptocurrencies which exist today will disappear in the future. There are many different coins right now but also many of them are quite similar to each other. I would say that Bitcoin will be an equivalent of what dollar is for us today. It will be an universal currency which everyone will know about. Even most of Bitcoin forks will disappear since they won't offer anything that would be worth buying them. Right now, Bitcoin seems to have one of the lowest transaction fees from all available cryptocurrencies.

And I think that we should not overestimate the mental and moral qualities of famous people. They also tend to believe in beautiful fairy tales, and wish for easy money, like everyone else.
