Of course, there are many fake coins exist. look for the coin project deeply, research about it. Look for the developer team. If it's not an ICO, look for trading volume in exchanges, a fake coin won't exist in good exchanges. Avoid new cryptocurrency exchanges unless you know and trust them.

what kind of fake coin do you mean? scammer or like how.
but if for scammers who are on behalf of ico it is a lot. yes, in fact I've dealt with a scam ico. this is the experience and must be more precise in every speculation. So, essentially you have to find a lot of knowledge, experience and insight.

a lot of that kind of thing lately. Indeed it is not much fun in the middle of the coin that is so attractive to many people utilize it for something inappropriate. and careful analysis needs to be done in a situation like today.

Yes there are fake coins made by the fake projects. Sometimes you can get them from airdrops  because anyone can make fake coins but of course they can't make it listed on exchanges . So fake coins has bo value and will not have a value at all. Take a look with the project and do your research to avoid investing in fake coins.

The word fake coin is depends on your own understanding. Because each altcoins have its own Blockchain. I think you are preferring to pump and dump shitcoins that has no real use or the dev use cryptocurrency to get money out of the thin air.

There are many fake coins available today, including bitconnect, ifan, davorcoin, etc. That currency have in common is operated under the control of Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) organizations, the rates of these cryptos are mostly not indexed on exchange floors but are traded internally. So you need to study and analyze thoroughly before investing to avoid fake coins.

When they become coin they will not be fake coin. If you invest in ICO, then new tokens can be false and fraudulent. Counterfeiters create fraudulent tokens to trick new investors into the market.

There are many fake coin which just want money from investor. I suggest to preview the background of the project. Also pay attention to some aspects like their whitepaper, their team, and other things. Therefore knowledge is necessary in this regard.

To me there is no fake coin, we only have scam projects and the numbers are on the rise, I can fork BTC, do that make it a fake coin? No. As long as people attach value to a coin it is not fake but what we are having now are people creating projects and selling coins to the people after selling their own stash on the market then disappear from the space and leave people bagholding it

the fake coin that does not exist. There are only the coins already accompanying the market but does not have the correct interest from investors and eventually the coin fall the price so that the length would be getting down and forgotten. with so long a coin land could die. So what is called the fake coin did not exist.

There may be, for there are also many scams or fake ICOs and bounty. Actually, I don't really know which one is the fake coins. But, considering to reduce the risks, it is better to learn more about the coin that we will invest. One of them is the value and rate on the exchange, rank, and other information related to the coin. We must also know from where the coins are emerging, ICO or others.

What is the definition of a fake coin according to you?

A coin that is real but is using the btc name and posing as btc?
A coin that doesn't exist at all?
A coin that claims to be the next/new btc?
probably their understanding. the coin is new and not able to compete in the market so that no longer have value. and if you buy a popular coin and have a stable price. buy bitcoin

Yes there's a lot of them now and we cannot avoid them because we dont know if they are good or not until in the end we realize it is fake coin, so i suggest trust only in a popular coin so we surely we can get profit than believing in a new coin that possible it is fake. Buy coin that have potential because surely give you more earning to get, so buying it is really worth it because you know it is fake. Also fake coins are claiming that they are next to Bitcoin and saying they can beat Bitcoin so dont believe because its not true.
