So I'm slowly going into crypto and I want to know if any of you trade altcoins daily, or you prefer to hold it for long term? What do you think it's better and why?
Thanks
I chose the strategy that I hold the bulk for a long time, but sometimes I can change something a little depending on the market. Also periodically I invest small amounts in little-known projects, if I believe in them.

Personally, I believe that hodl is more profitable. Thus you are less at risk than when you trade

I've personally invested in some coins for a long term. I still do not have enough budget for daily trading, and it takes a lot of time. At least 12 hours to be worth if you trade with smaller amounts.

Buy and hold, if you sell there is a risk that you have to buy back later at a price that is much higher. If you want to trade use 20% of your coins; 80% hold.

It actually depends on which coin you have. But I prefer to hold mine long term. I personally believe that when you hold long term, you'll get more benefits. You could also allocate your investment %75 long term and %25 for day time trading. Have a plan before invest ! Good luck.

I prefer to collect tokens to the future. At me they lay on different cold purses. Sometimes during the days off or when I have enough free time, I do daily trading. But it's more for fun, since I do not have experience as professional traders, and do not have huge sums to sell with 5% profit to be happy.

IMO I will choose day trading instead of long term holding. Although holding is safer way to earn money than trading but it takes really long time, sometime it takes months or maybe even years for holder to earn good amount of money. But with day trading, everyone can earn good amount of money everyday if they're a good trader and have big capital to trade.

Holding long term is quite feasible for you since you are new to crypto market and have no experience in trading. However, you can trade the coins which you are holding for the long term, in that way you can earn daily by trading.

Current Crypto market not fully conducive there are only a few cryptoes that can be traded in this quarter. In the face of such a situation I personally prefer to hold it in the long run. If we can't buy, with holding it is the only best way.

I am not smart enough to beat the bots with day trading. I lost more than I made and it was shitty tense hours spent hovering over my mouse button looking for the right entry/exit.
Prefer to spend more time researching then going for the long HODL. That said not afraid to move around a little bit if I think it is the right long term move

I prefer trading for a long time. I think it has fewer risks. But if you have trade experience and you are a professional trader, then you will be interested in trading inside the day. Either 70% of the deposit is allocated for trade for a long time, and 30% for trading within a day.

Day trading is not suitable for an average investor. Only experienced traders can be successful. I would prefer long-term hold, as it is relatively safe.

Long term holding has many advantages over day trading. It is much easier to identify coins that will grow longer term than those that will grow in the next 24 hours. With longer term investments you cannot fall victim to the dangers of high daily volatility.
Day trading while much more risky can lead to much greater returns. While a coin may grow over 100% in a few months let's say, it will have a cumulative volatility of much more than this amount. If you can successfully buy the lows and sell the highs then you can really outgrow that 100%.
Meaning more patient is required in long trading than day trading. Day trading can regrets when time comes if the price go to the moon. More patient is the most required.

I usually hold it for long term investment but as for now I'm going use both, half is for trading to altcoins to have a movement in my profit while waiting for my long term investment even though it gain less profit and the other half is for long term to gain more profit.

I prefer both. I have a long term crypto that is sitting on my wallet for very long time. most of the time i dont loot at its price unless there is a big news.
My short term trading are on exchange and i usually stay at top 10 crytpo based on marketcap
