This is an altcoin?  I guess that it's really just for fun, eh?

We have found our first sacrifice! All those willing to take part in the sacrament please bring forth your chalices. We will begin the blood letting upon the dias.

Oh great Cthulhu, please accept this offering. We await your return from the watery abyss.

Tulu, Clulu, Clooloo, Cthulu, Cthullu, C'thulhu, Cighulu, Cathulu, C'thlu, Kathulu, Kutulu, Kthulhu, Q’thulu, K'tulu, Kthulhut, Kutu, Kulhu, Kutunluu, Ktulu, Cuitiliú, Thu Thu.

Did not have so much joy since the times we trawled the waters pirating Doubloons.

i just dropped by the github and see there is a premine of 10,000 offerings. is this another r3wt coin??  LoL!!!

 Cheesy

10k premine is hardly shocking - I do hope the prophet sees fit to be clear on what the premine is for, will it be used to help achieve the summoning?, or will it be used to line the prophets pockets?

Still like the coin, I've always been a fan of Cthulhu Grin

This is neither SHA-256 nor Scrypt; it uses the same algo as quarkcoin, you need to test your hashrate with internal miner or quark miner (download URL provided in first post).

No, it's still proof of work - the more you put in, the more you get out Grin

Ok if I put in 45 what do i get in return ? This 'uncertainty' and lack of clear explanation does kinda put off even with all mighty cthulhu.

This coin is mined with a CPU, you can't point GPU's at it.

dedicated quark miners will work, or you can just type 'setgenerate true x' in the console of your wallet. (x being the number of CPU cores to use)

You'll get better performance from a stand-alone quark miner.

Yeah, I like these type of coins to mine alongside mining with GPU's - twice the productivity Smiley
