I don't know who is pumping Litcoin right now. But I am surprised at its price increase. It went up by 30% yesterday, without any big news. It seems like someone is trying to manipulate the exchange rates.

Recorded Future analyzes the message of 150 black websites, markets, and illegal services and they found Litecoin to be the second most used electronic currency, just behind Bitcoin, and followed by Dash.
This analysis also found that Russians are very fond of Litecoin, whereas English speakers prefer Monero.
This analysis concludes that Bitcoin will continue to be used by black sites for payment purposes, but it will occupy smaller market share. Litecoin and Dash will gradually replace Bitcoin as a means of daily payment.

rumor is not a good source of information. bitcoin is the father of all cryptocurrencies and it is not advisable to compare it with its competitors because it is the start and it will always be bitcoin no matter what. maybe if you expound your question and narrowed to to specific factors like marketshare or product positioning. |

I dont think litecoin is next bitcoin because simply no coin can take Bitcoin's place for at least 2-3 years now. Litecoin is still low and the team is strong but the community support is too high right now.

That's good to know if ever Litecoin would be next to Bitcoin however I don't think it is going to happen anytime soon. Litecoin has been here for quite some time andit has not move that much ever since there are new coins created almost every month.

I think Litecoin will not have chance to become the next Bitcoin in the future although in next 30 or 40 years. There are a lot of altcoins have better potential than LTC like ETH, XMR and NEO. IMO I think the next BTC must be ETH and the next coin can become the second ETH in the future must be NEO, good coin supported by China.

I don't believe in such rumors. You can't become someone if you have your own personality. Bitcoin will never be replace as it has its own role on crypto. Bitcoin is already the very foundation of every coins. Litecoin will create its own name and will continue to walk the path where it wanted to be.
I completely agree with your opinion because bitcoin is mother coin and it is first coin all over the world.so it is not possible on my opinion. i think bitcoin is bitcoin you can not compare any other coin. |

There is no cyrpto currency comparable to bitcoin. Most coin have some advantages over bitcoin but they can never be like bitcoin . Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency and most loved digital currency

Litecoin has Litepay and many other features coming, you can also send thousands of dollars in LTC for literally less than a penny - oh and it is fast to confirm.. I mean super fast..

In the current cryptocurrencies market, the only alternative to Bitcoin is Ethereum, because Ethereum is associated with Blockchain 2.0 technology and most altcoins and ICOs use this technology with the Token ERC20.
