I think Litecoin will always have a spot in the top 100 for its utility.  As far as taking over for Bitcoin I'm not so sure.  Bitcoin is a legend.  It's also the one on the medias lips.  I don't hear as much about Litecoin.  So the masses will choose Bitcoin.

I would rather agree that Ethereum will be the next bitcoin. When compared to other coins it seems that Ethereum has more price, and a better and more stable project. But everyone has different beliefs on each coin, and is confident that there will be coins that go beyond bitcoin.

I don't believe in such rumors. You can't become someone if you have your own personality. Bitcoin will never be replace as it has its own role on crypto. Bitcoin is already the very foundation of every coins. Litecoin will create its own name and will continue to walk the path where it wanted to be.

I agree, bitcoin is always on the top, it can not replace by any coin, maybe some of those coin now are good but they can not replace bitcoin especially now that the price of litecoin and bitcoin are very far away.

I agree with you, replacing bitcoin is very difficult. In my opinion, Litecoin requires a long process and a stable step follows bitcoin. But Litecoin also has a dependence on Bitcoint if bitcoin continues to climb, litecoin will be hard to catch up. Unlike the case if the price of Bitcoin drops.

If that's the case you've been concerned a lot, mine is different too. As more people claim that Litecoin is the next Bitcoin, i am not trusting it too as i know there are other cryptos around that's better than Litecoin. If i have to say, Ethereum will be my best bet to be the crypto next to Bitcoin in the future.

Bitcoin should be worth more than Litecoin at the end. Ethereum is a close competitor to Bitcoin.

I am not sure Litecoin will defeat Bitcoin and I never thought it would happen. Because Litecoin copying the source code of Bitcoin, almost 100% (CMIIW). And does Litecoin has an advantage?
So, Litecoin will never worthy of being the next Bitcoin.
