So far I haven't been scammed as I never invested in MLM coins, however at early stages, I lost in trading which is quite common if you are new in trading. Now I am really comfortable with crypto trading I haven't been scammed too but then, that's probably the main reason why I didn't believe in bitcoins at first. The thought of 'scamming' made me had doubts on using bitcoins and campaigns like signature but I'm hoping it won't happen.

Thing is, people need to start asking themselves one simple question "Is it too good to be true"?
No one is giving out free money and due to a variety of reasons a lot of new crypto "traders" are chasing fast money and are very prone to get rich quick schemes.
The psychology behind this is too complicated, despite the fact that there is too many red flags around certain programs, people do invest in them and tend to defend those programs aggressively like it's their owns, which is really weird.

Well scammers are always there, all you need to do is to make sure that you avoid those scammers, don't join in any bounty that you think is scam and don't also invest to those project that you think is not good in the future to avoid those scammers.

Yes once, but not here. I still don't experience scammers here but I'm aware about it and I'm hoping I won't. I'm fond of online buying and selling. One time, I bought a bit expensive card and I waited for the day to received it but it was not shipped. I contacted the supplier but she didn't respond. Then goes a month and I asked for it, and she said she will give back my refund but it doesn't happen. That moment, I realized I was scammed. As a response, we should always be careful who we have transactions and be aware of fraud.

It always pays to check the background of something in order for you not to experience scam. Luckily I never experience being scam. I always have trust issues with it comes to something unknown that appears from nothing. Because I always check, read and review or ask feedbacks from the members. For me strong evidence counts. In Bitcoin I already proven that this is not a scam. And I have a lot of friends who proves that.

Yes got scammed after reading a white paper that said "Virtually free transaction fees" and then the miners put the fees up as high as $55 last month and the other part of the scam is they made out they were against banker and then tried to introduce something called the lightning network so I read the white paper and discovered it was full of these things they kept calling hubs but they charge both tx fees and interest on BTC using to finance the private ledgers and change interest on the movement of your own money, much like banks do anyway.
What the saying , fool me once shame on you, fool me twice ?

Mining is CPU-wars and Intel, AMD like it nearly as much as big oil likes miners wasting electricity. Is this what mankind has come too.

No, I wasn't. There are two things at the very center of every classic Ponzi scheme: an investment with (allegedly) a remarkably high return, and a story about just why the extraordinary returns can be so easily achieved. When any time of investment promises a guaranteed compounded monthly return, you can pretty much guarantee you are in trouble. So before you invest make research about the product and the company — do they seem reputable? Do they have history of success? Are they truly who they say they are?
Here are several signs you might be in a scheme:
1. You never receive any real collateral for your investment in crypto currency, just a promise that you will earn money back.
2. The guaranteed return of your investment is too good to be true.
3. You’re told a complicated yet convincing reason about why the returns are so strong.
Some great points right there and I completely agree with you. It is obvious that there are a plethora of ponzi schemes trying to rob people of their money in the crypto market and it is easy to fall for such scams if you are not careful. Personally, I know many people who fell for such scams and lost lot of money in the process. The recent bitconnect fiasco was one of the worst scams which literally stole thousands of dollars from their investors which is seriously insane. I know that such a scheme was not sustainable in the long run what is why I warned people that this scheme could collapse at any moment.

No, I am fortunate enough to be a person that is pessimistic on unknown projects. I dont throw my money into random projects, I do my research and I am very cautious when I invest. There is enough money to be made without all these risky investments IMO. Most people that are scammed are reckless with their private keys or passwords, or just give people money thinking they will be getting double the money back... As the CEO of Binance already said in a tweet: That is not how it works.

I have been scammed by a cloudmining company. At first it was paying but then after sometimes they stopped paying people and eventually shutdown. I have experienced this several times (lol I never learned) but then after several failed investment in cloudmining, I finally decided that it is not really worth to invest. Aside from that, I have been scammed by HYIP company disguised as MLM company.

Well those were my early days into crypto and bitcoin. I bought very small amount of bitcoin and also earned some from a site that used to pay in bitcoin for posting. And someone introduced me to a site called HashOcean, which was an online mining site where one has to buy hash power and then earn some profit. So I bought some, it was very low so I bought more and then when I was just about to reach my payout limit... boom the site was no more. They ran away with everything. So yeah, that was my scam story in the crypto world. Lessen learnt, said NO to online mining forever. And also have been quite careful about these offers and crypto investment opportunities.

But here in digital currency, I haven't been scam and I'm glad that to all of risks that I take, this one is the right thing I've done so far on my searching of a profitable business.
