Recently learned that more and more ICOs are closing deals through private sales and merely airdropping the coins. Will ICOs die, when will it?
I do not think that I want ICOs to die. Yes, there are a lot of scams, but still, if you know how to avoid it, it is not a problem for you

I think scammers should be destroyed, and they should have been destroyed long ago, not the ICO system itself, I have nothing against it

I think the only time when icos will die is when people stop investing in them and companies finds a new way to promote their projects without using the crypto blockchain. People will continue to invest in very good project ideas and more companies will want to promotes their product in other to make profit thereby giving icos more existence.

I don't think ICO will die just like IPO in stocks this is the way where they can get investors for their company. I just hope there is a regulatory with ICO so that we can avoid scam's ICO to protect investors.

I think 2019 will be the hard time for ICO, many projects which have been successfully get invested in 2017 will need to show their result as road map.
Basically ICO is Startup, 95% startups projects will die. So many people lose their money.
And ICO will be very unreliable.

as long as for the good and continuity of crypto, whatever will be done for as a barrier it must be stopped and destroyed, I approve it

With the multitude of problems that arise as a result of new ICO is constantly popping up. The longer the ICO makes the world increasingly mushrooming. And this can not be left well enough alone. because it can make the ICO could gradually die. With more and more projects of the ICO, the many who could project to fail, delayed, even a scam.

ICO will never die, as long as there is a new coin issued ICO will always be there,
ICO is not dead but ICO follows the regulations issued by a country,
ICO is only reduced and ICO one day will continue to grow, because through ICO an altcoin looking for investment funds.

I don't think that means the ICO has to die. There are simply projects in which there are many interested and wealthy people. Such projects do not need to arrange an ICO. The most striking example of such a passing ICO is Grams.

The only ICO will die is gonna a scam or not legit, why? because they will not be able to maintain their financial standards which leads to bankruptcy. A good ICO will always be have a good team and leaders in order to be successful, you must check their white paper before investing on it.

ICO projects will not die exactly until they come up with some other technology, which will be more effective than the blockchain technology. I think that makes sense.

I believe that the ico is now in its infancy. There will be many changes, amendments and possible regulation. But the fact that the ico will be a long time I'm sure.

I think ICO does not need to die. What it needs is supervision of the legal department. I hope one day all ICO projects will pass the formal department review before they can openly recruit investors!

From my understanding ico's were the support system that contribute to the combined growth of the cryptocurrency network. As people have started to analyze more about digital growth than sticking to the traditional system, the usage of ico will last contributing a small percentage.

ICO, I think it's a very good invention, it's a unique invention that people's ideas come to life with other people's money. But the crooks use it for bad reasons.
