How much money one can earn by playing this game?
Do you need to invest anything before starting to play and how much time it requires to get the investment back?

You can get a basic team that will be bad for Arena but god enough for PvE for 300 usd
its not hard to earn 300-500 usd per month (by playing less than 2h a day) and if you want to stop playing you can always sell your axies aferwards

if you want a good team you will probably spend from 0.25 to 0.5 eth

** this considered a fixed price of SLP on the 13 cents, remember there is volatility so earnings can be higher or lower, axies prices can vary too but floor has been raising over time

SLP had a huge run up and pumped the price so earning potential got bigger, at the same time with Ronin (their sidechain launch) transactions got cheaper and more axies are being bred and scholarship programs are growing a lot.

I fear that these games like Cyptokitties and the trading of meme coins is responsible for the congestion in the ETH network and the high fees. That's a serious problem as it's almost inconceivable that ETH could handle the load coming from gaming. There could be thousands and thousands of games on the ETH network in just a few years.

you are actually wrong about Axie, since they migrate to Layer-2 blockchain, Ronin, which is on top of Ethereum, and does not make a network congestion at all, it is processing transactions on their own, just secure it through Ethereum blockchain

Axie is actually getting really big, I bought some AXS few months ago, and it is rising steady, while waiting for airdrop to happen, snapshot was somewhere in October, and airdrop should happen these days
it is a good game, and there are some people in south-east Asia that live on play-to-earn economy with this game

Ok my fault then and good to know that Axie is going for a solution that doesn't get the ETH blockchain stuck. There are so many meme coins and what not that all run on top of ETH. Useless usage of the tx capacity.

I think you are lacking a deeper look at the project
they are pumping after 3 years of development, including working when nobody cared about NFTs, ethereum and blockchain games

lol and look at them now MC is over $1B rank 72 on Gecko the project that you laugh before help thousands of people from all over the world to earn good amount of money by just playing in this times of crisis and help some people to recover their losses brought by pandemic, thanks to axie of course.

Sometimes it is the list expected project that usually gives the most profit, it is never a wise thing to underrate a project, even if it appear funny to some people, other people may take it serious enough to push the price up to an unexpected height, am looking for such unusual profit to give me good profit to recover some of my recent losses to be honest, unfortunately am not always lucky.

Glad to see that AXS was growing so big but im really depressed with the server that is always down and down. Already completed the daily quest but some SLP didn't appear lol.
It seems like there must be a massive upgrade to the server to handle so much demand that already came for AXS.
