AXIE games are no longer attractive for gamers. In the next season, which is going to launch in about a week time, there will be no reward for playing adventure mode. Previously everyone got 50 SLP daily by playing in adventure mode but now if this reward is removed, then the only way to earn is to win in Arena which is not so easy. I am sure, after this new update, many game investors will be sad because it will be impossible for them to earn from this game.

I support the idea to make more difficult to get SLP, that's good for SLP price improvement. SLP price decreased so much because people are too easy to earn SLP by playing the adventure mode. Sure, the only way people can earn it by winning it and it must be harder. But it should be more challenging, right? No, investors won't be sad, most of them may not play but just hold the tokens. Especially for SLP holders, they even will be happy.

Axie Infinity make serious changes in their Play to Earn mode in order to balance their game economy and I agree with them. It will bring more challenge to new investors, gamers to get in, reach to break-even and get profit. However, for old and early gamers, they don't complain because indeed they got a lot of profit from this game already. I know not all of them have gotten rich with Axie because they would have earned a lot in early months of this game but they also very probably to sold their reward at very low price.

Anyway, balancing the game economy is good for growth of the project in long run.

I believe the team will add more sinks, they are professional enough in this business. Just take a look at AXS price, it is proven they know how to increase their tokens values. I personally have no doubt about the capacity of the Axie team members.

You are right. SLP increased quite significantly after the announcement, it indicates good news for SLP holders. Not only for SLP investors, but players who still hold their SLP will also get the advantage as well. Yep, I also hope it is just the beginning of SLP development. I expect the price of SLP can hit its ATH again someday.

There are bunch of botters and a single guy who have control over tens account and since the arena has become more difficult to win due to the very strict competition and they have no choice other than focusing to farm on advanture mode and this time it already removed by the team and those botters have no chance other than got their SLP through battling with others. This is decreasing the total SLP being minted everyday but this is not so significant as so many people are in competition to win the battle as much as they can. im playing this game using floor axie for fun only.

If there is no earning from the game, you might play it for fun. If it is a play to earn game, you will play it for both. It's better for gamers to play and earn. It's better to play on-chain games with some kind of initial capital and have earnings. Axie Infinity changed lives of many people in South East Asia or Latin America but not all of them are happy with Axie games. It is life, one win, another lose. There are winners and oppositely there are others as losers.

I support this strategic change from Axie Infinity team.

They will make SLP deflationary by stop rewarding it in PvE and burn this token. People and the market are hyped on the news and this change. They boosted SLP up x5 but it is stupid, it has been pulled back a lot already. Good news is good but it takes time to be really recognized by investors and real users. People who can sell at x5, congratulations to them, but if they hoped on when SLP x3, and now are stucked, I am sorry to say but it's not smart at all.

You're playing in a pay to earn game and the developer can force to give a change to the game anytime as they want. So many bots played adventures forced the developers to remove the adventures from the game. I have seen that since that day people are only focusing to earn from the arena but again the price of SLP is so low. You need to win every battle to get decent amounts of SLP. 

Many players are sad because of its stoppage. It is really hard that everyone win just by playing in the arena.

Bot players may be? The problem is if you didn't have good axies and then you must not expect to win every battle easily? I have stopped to play this since last month.

You're playing in a pay to earn game and the developer can force to give a change to the game anytime as they want. So many bots played adventures forced the developers to remove the adventures from the game. I have seen that since that day people are only focusing to earn from the arena but again the price of SLP is so low. You need to win every battle to get decent amounts of SLP. 

The success of a game is not too important. The success of a whole in-game ecosystem and the health of its in-game economy are more important. Because no matter how good a game is, it can not attract new gamers forever at a same growth rate. So whenever the growth rate decreases, it will bring negative effects on in-game economy if it mostly relies on linear user growth rate in order to balance the in-game economy.

This approach is unsustainable so that Axie Infinity team are trying to do something to change and fix it. As observers, we can see the growth of Axie Infinity ecosystem already is slow down, temporarily peaked at growth rate.

I think is no, stable coins that need the real money to the pegged tokens. when they implementing this, they need more money and need to ICO again to raising up fund

Katana has USDC listed so those who wish can trade their assets to a "stable" coin.
but they are probably not including it as an in-game asset, not sure

you can be very right with that but i also think it's a big plus to Axie that it was the very first real P2E game that started all those new upcoming games and a lot of people will stick to it just because of that , also i think that it is going to get better gameplay with time

After receiving huge investment capital from a16z, Axie Infinity has lot of money to use. So far, they have yet used much of capital they raised successfully. Their project has achieved big milestones and changed the gaming industry a lot. They are like a role model for later GameFi projects but I see Axie won't stop in GameFi. Metaverse is where they will head towards.

They have a big advantage than other GameFi or Metaverse projects because they have successfully (again) built their own chain, Ronin. It helps them to reduce transaction fees and fee burden on gamers. It helps them to attract gamers into Axie and helps them to maintain price of AXS, SLP somewhat. Even they have so many support mechanisms for price, they have to stop PlayToEarn reward that is harmful for their token price.

Axie Infinity has passed the limit and now they are naturally shilled on many social media channels even their project does not need to proactively do marketing.
