can someone just explain to me why soon gpu's will be of no use or far less efficient than cpu in mining this coin?  what causes this?

how long before this becomes the case and this reverts to being a cpu coin?

The nFactor determines the efficiency of GPU mining.

It should be a few weeks that GPU's are worth it

Anyone get a miner other than Windows GPU on in OP to work? Tried several others with no luck. Maybe it's lack of configurable nFactor?

On tix.coinmine.pl with Windows GPU miner I'm getting 550KH/s on a 65670 (which gets 100KH/s on scrypt).

So really, if one wanted to create a cpu only coin that would stay cpu and not be eventually ported to gpu like may happen with quark and prime. They just need to make a coin where the n factor quickly becomes too large for gpu to be efficient?

I would love to have a block explorer. I'll even pay 5 million TIX to the first TWO that are up and stable

We have absolutely nothing to hide. We've even got more services in the first few days than most coins do ever

Ill give you 1 day for a block explorer or I reveal the full list of names of people behind this scam

First of all, it's not a scam by any means. We already have more sites accepting TIX than a shitload of other coins do, and we did it in the first 48 hours. It was released fairly with no premine and the GPU miner is linked in the OP for everyone to have. Someone was trying to sell it in the trollboxes, but iGotSpots used the CPR miner and just changed one value to make it work and it was posted for free immediately

Secondly, you may know who is posting, but you have no idea all the people that have/are still working on this project. I'm sure it will come out eventually who is behind this coin, anyway, but the truth is...even if you tell everyone the people you know (which isn't nearly the whole team), all you are going to do is prove that our coins have never had issues and continue to be profitable. None of us have ever been accused of a scam and every single person was chosen based on public reputation. This coin speaks for itself, we don't want it labeled as someone's coin

Third, and final thought...I've already offered 5 million TIX to the first two block explorers. If you can make one, please do. I can't

Well, isn't there only a handful of people who make coins here? Even if they didn't just create a new user and release it, they at least made the coin for someone who paid them.

So looking through the source code, noticed POS is implemented.

If I read it correctly 5% at 365 min 730days max weight.

Perhaps this should be mentioned in OP?

If you guys want TIX on the exchanges, you have to help us let them know about it!

Cryptsy: support@cryptsy.com

mcxNOW: support@mxcNOW.com

Bter: support@bter.com

Let them know TIX was a fairly released coin with 4 live betting sites accepting it in less than 48 hours. 24/7 support, stable network

100k to anyone that opens a support ticket on Cryptsy and says they want TIX added. The mods said that tickets are how they gauge interest

Obviously, I can't verify your tickets, so we will go on the honor system. Don't screw me, please. Post an address when you're done
