Got hungry.  Bought more.

I have 750,000,000 TIX now.  Close to 1%.

That is a good chunk. I only have 160 million TIX at the moment.

Just to make something clear...

When we say our team is responsible for that number of coins, we are also including the coins that were purchased for creation. Not all of those are ours, most of them are just coins that were made for other people

So how many coins are out right now?  And how many will be out at full maturity?  TIA

21:15:48

getinfo

{
"blocks" : 124084,
"moneysupply" : 40744694245.47507477,
"connections" : 56,
"difficulty" : 0.98747853,
}

Max moneysupply 100,000,000,000

Keep in mind it will take an extremely long time to reach the full maturity of coins, being that it's scrypt-jane. Don't expect us to reach the max for a loooong time once GPU mining is basically useless. It's already down to about 30% efficiency from when we launched, due to nFactor adjustments

You can always check how many coins are currently already out by opening your debug window in the QT and simply typing "getinfo" without the quotes in the console tab

It's dirt cheap right now.  I paid more for COL and way more for ADT.

That's a fast starter - 40 billion out.  So I already have almost 2% of coins out.  Thanks for the info!

Yes, scrypt-janes have a coin generation rate that drops each time the nFactor shifts, which makes GPU mining less efficient. Think of it as a second difficulty to slow the coin down if it's progressing too quickly.  We had over 90 connections nonstop on the network for the first two weeks

yep it getting added to cryptsy was the worst thing that ever happened for TIX. what a shame at least they have boosted their xpm value from it though so that's not too bad for them and doubled up on fee's too. I am having nothing good to say about that exchange to anyone i speak to.

Just shy of 1 Billion Tix now.

Let's get just 10 or 20 guys to buy up 1 billion and we'll corner the market.  It's only a few BTC.  Really cheap compared to other coins out there.  Good risk reward profile.

Agreed. They are fucking the price to increase xpm it seems like while leaving premined coins like ADT  with nowhere to spend them that break and get removed every week on ltc. Ridiculous

Yeah we need another decent exchange, i don't agree with the cryptsy politics at all. Bolstering coins they own and seek to force a rise in the market is bullshit. No coin should have launched on the xpm market. Even if they put it on the ltc market now it will not pan out.

Crypsty are corrupt remember No huge premined coins were meant to be allowed...then ORB coin the most premined sack of crap that nobody ever mined except the devs was added in a day LOL    - after this move with the xpm market i am going to be watching cryptsy very closely. When an exchange is not impartial that spells bad trouble for the future.

I have nothing against any of the coins (except massive premined scam coins)  but to launch a coin on xpm market is saying to people it's worth nothing and not going to be. It would have been way way better had cryptsy not added it and left it for bter.

Well we aren't going to jump on any conspiracy bandwagon and start shit talking them about it, but it was definitely shady, and the ORB debacle was unexcusable

Either way, though, every one of us is holding on to every TIX we've mined. I don't know of anyone on the team even selling a single Ticket, yet, at these low prices. None of us are going anywhere, and there's no arguing within the people involved or anything either, even in this bad spot we've been put in.

We ware going to continue to pursue and develop games and services for the coin, regardless of the price. I'm personally holding about 300 million TIX that I've mined since launch, and I believe the total that the entire dev team has altogether is around 1.5 billion I would guess. Some people have been mining it since launch with much more hashpower than we have so I'm sure they have much more than we do put together. Like I said, I'm not even aware of anyone involved in TIX selling even a single Ticket so far

Hello,

It has been some time since I reported an issue at github.com, but I'm not sure if you're checking the issues listed there. Thus, I'm going to repeat it here. The RPC method "getbalance" is returning wrong values when an account is passed. Here's an example:

Code:
$ LotteryTicketsd getbalance
28025226.41169600

This is correct. Now:

Code:
$ LotteryTicketsd getbalance 849
2903830951507.06933594
$ LotteryTicketsd getbalance 980
2903830947584.56982422
$ LotteryTicketsd getbalance ""
0.00000000

The values should've been 3922.49954600, 0, and 0 (the last one is correct) respectively.

We should have an updated client today or tomorrow that should fix this and a few other minor issues as well as cosmetic upgrades. If the problem is still there after that we will investigate further
