Requirements for ICO will be tightened so in the near future the number of projects will be reduced. Perhaps in 2 years ICO will continue to exist but the mechanism of their implementation will be transformed.

I believe that ICOs will stay not only in 2 years but it can be more than that. Digital currencies are just starting to boom to other countries. Aside from the fact that we can use them in our daily lives, investors are also earning from them. It may not be much at this time but it will be sooner.

Ofcourse, Remember al cryptocurrency are part of ICO before. It was develop by developers who wants to change the old system and by using blockchain life will be easier. So ICO will stay longer and it won't be dead. Just like opening a new business ventures.
strongly agree with you, but in opening a new business and develop it there are two possibilities, if successful then the ICO tokens will be successful and the price is expensive, and if it fails then the tokens are very quiet buyers and it makes it crumble

I think that ICOs will continue to exist. But they will be changed a lot. The regulation will appear. We can already see the emergence and development of new rules and restrictions.

ICOs are projects which they are corporating bitcoin forum in order to promote this project , ICOs is of great benefits to the members joining the bounty projects as this is a source of tokens , so ICOs will still exists in the coming years as long as bitcoin still exists in the digital world.

You sound so sure that I want you to be wrong. Anything can happen if Bitcoin goes then all the coins should go.

Probably yes with different and more safe options. ICOs are really good and easy for  collecting investment  for starting business. Of course easy way attracks scammers too

In one form or another, ICO will exist much longer than 2-3 years. Perhaps the conditions for their conduct will change - for example, it will be necessary to fully verify the identity of participants, payment of taxes, etc. But this will lead to the emergence of "illegal" ICO, private, with less strict requirements.

What we're seeing now is really a boom in ICO. Every day I'm reading about dozens of them, i'm very surprised how with such a huge variety of projects, some of them manage to collect a hardcap. In all this diversity, it is very difficult to choose really worthwhile and it takes just a ton of time to get acquainted with the site, the team, the white paper and decide whether to invest or not. In a few years, the number of ICO will decrease many times. There will be more strict selection methods and regulation.

Why would you want to stop these ICOs from coming in? new innovation wont stop that is why theres no stopping these new projects from coming out and i means there will be good reason why new investors will come to our market to invest because if theres no new projects those potential investors will be lessen because we have the same old shit.

Exactly, it has to do with innovation. It's an evolution of IPO (Initial Public Offering) where you invest in stocks. With ICO you invest directly in the product than rather the entire company. You invest directly in the (potential) product and can either use or trade your coins. Also your shares no not decrease in value if the company makes a financial loss as in the stockmarket and you don't gain if their finances are improving. This concept is very innovative and especially suitable for tech company. It won't likely go away soon, rather evolve.

You might call it a boom. I call it a garbage production facility. There are ICOs popping up like mushrooms from the ground and even experienced investors stay at the sidelines. Ask yourself why.

Since so many ICOs seem to be getting done privately by big institutions investors where the public needs to have connections to get in to a large minimum investment (Eg. 100 ETH+)...

Do you think Public Pre-Sales (e.g. minimum 100 ETH) or Pre-Sale Pools will even exist in 2 years?

The cat is out of the bag. I think both private token sales and public ICOs will continue to proliferate. There are, of course, huge opportunities for VCs to push for private equity. No different than IPOs. So we'll continue to see two distinct classes of coin offerings -- 1) top tier private offerings for accredited investors and 2) public ICOs for everyone else.

We're seeing diminishing returns from the current wave of ICOs, and that's why a lot of people think they won't last. But the reality is this: even if ICOs were mostly cash grabs based on vaporware, they are a fundamentally groundbreaking fundraising mechanism. They remove major investment barriers for people across classes. Working class folks and people in developing countries have never had this sort of access to liquid investments. So they aren't going anywhere.

I think the first wave of ICOs were mostly comparable to altcoins in 2013 -- the Devcoins, the Chinacoins, the Feathercoins. The next wave of hype and investment will blow a lot of peoples' minds.

Agreed, although I can already see some projects deciding to go the other way, build the platform from their own funds and then find ways to evenly distribute tokens to the users of their platform. The Merkle just yesterday featured top 4 projects not doing an ICO - https://themerkle.com/top-four-upcoming-cryptocurrencies-sans-icos/

There have been many projects that lasted for 2 years. I have seen quite a lot of these ICO projects but usually these are just ordinary projects without any special features.
I always appreciate ICO projects that make their plans fast and do not have to wait too long. That makes investors feel much more secure.

I think there will exist in 2 years only in a completely different form and other rules, the state will precisely take care of the regulation of this direction and most likely will allow for the investment of professional investors and various funds. Ordinary people will be difficult .....

I don't think the whole ICO market would even exist in the next two years. With the amount of scam work going around in the ICO markets I don't think that people are going to be fooled any more and would likely get smart and avoid investing in ICOs altogether. Unless there is some regulation I don't think the ICOs are going to succeed.

The chaos in the ICO market is a chaotic state brought about by emerging markets. As the market matures, chaos should gradually dissipate, similar to the early development of the Internet. "Because ICO is in its initial stage of development, there is no professional organization to conduct the assessment and there is no professional commissioning process." According to him, at present, various trading platforms and industry leaders tend to consider the evaluation of the reliability of a project. Whether to accept,"

I rather think that in 2 years the space will be heavily regulated and it will not be easy as now to scam people, but let´s wait and see

In fact, it is difficult to guess what the market of ICO projects will be in a few years, but I think there will be even more projects, and it would be nice if some legal norms were invented to protect investors and project builders.
