Will ICOs Exist In 2 Years?

Might not be existing anymore if these scam ICOs wont stop most of the government will surely going to ban these Initial Coin Offerings to protect people from getting scammed,causing these ICOs to slowly fade away and there will be no new projects that might came in to our environment we should have some alternatives like what vitalik buterin has suggested IPO if i am not mistaken.

I believe that ICO as a mechanism is really good : it helps projects develop their product, while people can take part in something promising and innovative. That's cool.
Thus, I think it will stay, but will undergo much transformation  - to make ICOs more secure for investors and decrease the number of scam

I dont think these ICOs will stil lbe able to exist when these regulations has come thru,because most of these scammers will stop or else they will be caught by the government especially those sectors like SEC,these government institutions wont stop hunting these shit people because most of the investors are getting nothing after investing to these scams.

For sure, but its almost guaranteed that they will be much more regulated than at the moment, as this will eliminate the bad apples (scams) among them and provide more security to investors.

Since so many ICOs seem to be getting done privately by big institutions investors where the public needs to have connections to get in to a large minimum investment (Eg. 100 ETH+)...

I believe it will still exist. I think not all projects can raise the necessary funds from private presale so it is still important to offer it to the public.

Cryptocurrency is gradually getting to a stage where every startups, as well as existing businesses all over the world, will begin to make use of the platform of cryptocurrency to generate fund. Now, in as much as there will continue to be startups, even apart from existing ones, there will surely continue to be ICO Because most times, it is a means of generating income for them as well as a good means of making profits by investors. The only thing we need when it comes to ICO, is eliminating scam. This i am sure will ensure the survival of ICO project, even beyond 2 years.

don't worry, I think this has been the question of coin investors who played coins since 2011
and in fact ICO continues to exist until now, even its volume continues to grow,
I predict ICO will increase in the next year, because the developer ICO who have successfully created a new ICO project again...

It should be because if ICOs wont exists 2years from now there will be no development in our market ,and there is no one who will invest because we have the same old shit over and over,new innovation and projects will attacts new money to come in our market that is why these ICOs wont be stopping from coming it,not unless the government will ban all of these potential scams.

That is a very nice question,because these regulations from SEC might cause these scam potential ICO sto stop doing their shits,scamming thousand of people and stealing millions of dollars are the worst thing that you could ever had.Someone needs to stop these scammers and those scam projects from coming in to our market because it is destroying cryptocurrency's reputation.

Nobody knows what the future holds for the ICOS, but my predicition is that in 2 years time, ICO will hold, but it will only be real, legibly and scam free icos that will take place in 2 years.
Because the market is blooming and the whole world is coming to terms with the acceptance of blockchain to ease finances in this present age.

I think ICO will continue to exist in the next 2 years. We may see some regulation coming next year or in 2 years. But the demand is huge, as long the market will work like that to raise fund for new projects. It's also a good way to growth the market and technology application. We are at the moment at early stage, nobody can predict a new evolution of ICO to raise funds in a near future.

Why would you want to stop these ICOs from coming in? new innovation wont stop that is why theres no stopping these new projects from coming out and i means there will be good reason why new investors will come to our market to invest because if theres no new projects those potential investors will be lessen because we have the same old shit.

I see no reason to think that ICO will not exist in the next two years. I think that some regulations will take place soon or later and the game will continue.

Short answer- YES! Long answer- A lot of companies who want to have ICOs haven't done so yet. They are jumping through legal hoops with the US government and regulators. In order to be in the clear legally, there is a lot of work for a company to do before they go ahead and tokenize their product. ICOs are the new form of venture capitalism and they make it so much easier for the average Joe to invest. Of course, the average Joe will need to learn to do his due diligence or he will be repeatedly scammed.

Sure it will exist not unless our cryptocurrency market collapses in just 2years, but i doubt because some of the countries are trying to adopt the technology as soon as possible! but lets hope the market will be much stable few years from now so that these big players cannot easily manipulate the market because most of the new investors are losing thier money whenever these whales are trying to put the market down.
